Always a fun round
Chicopee CC is very well run with an incredibly friendly staff. Course was in excellent shape and will always be my favorite western mass play.
Bad management.
I have been playing this course for over 10 years and the past couple have been a huge disappointment. This course books tee times probably around 2-4 minutes apart. I booked a tee time on GolfNow and then was at the tee box 2 mins before set tee time. The starter then sent off two groups, saying “they’re members, they play together” mind you this is a public course. The two groups then got to the tee and proceeded to shake each others hands to introduce themselves, meaning the starter was just lying. After that my group got on the tee box and my tee was in the ground waiting for the group ahead to finish up. The starter then came over to us and said there’s another group before you and at this point we are 20 minutes over our tee time that we paid to reserve. He proceeded to send them off before us. I learned to golf on this course and I used to love it but the way they book tee times and the rudeness of most starters ruins the experience entirely.
Will come back
Good layout, nice variety of holes, conditions very good for early season.
5 stars
The course is in perfect condition even during an early spring round. The range is a nice touch
Course never disappoints
For a city owned course, this one never disappoints. Greens were in fantastic shape and rolled true!
The course is great!
I’ve been playing this course for years. It’s always in great shape they take good care of it all year long. There’s one starter that just has it out for the world there. He’s rude, snarky, and overall just not a nice person. Didn’t catch his name but hopefully they do something about him before they start losing business.
This course is well maintained and staff very friendly
First time playing this course could not have been happier everything was great top to bottom
Very nice, fun, and challenging…
Course is in great shape. Layout is challenging but fun. Definitely need to make the right choice on club off the tee. Great place to play. Incredible value for the level of course you’ll experience.
Great as usual
Played the Sunday morning shotgun and had a great time. Course is in great shape as usual, greens were a bit slower than usual but there was a lot of moisture in the air, and the pace was 4hrs. If you move the ball from right to left this course will suit your eye! I don't but it's still a fun place to play.
