About
Agawam Municipal Golf Course has been a favorite among local golfers since first opening in 1944. It has a traditional layout that offers a few challenges but it's still player friendly enough for golfers of any skill levels. The holes are fairly straightforward but the gently rolling hills provide some subtly tricky elevation changes. There isn't any water on the golf course but there are mature trees lining the fairways. While it may not be what you're looking for if you're an avid golfer who wants a truly formidable test, Agawam Municipal Golf Course is not to be under-estimated. The greens can be tricky to pitch to and accuracy will take you far. This municipal course is a great spot for a quick and casual round that's also affordable.

Great course!
Timely tee times with no pace of play issues. Everyone was very nice and helpful. The food was also really good after the round. Clean as well! Considering my 2023 membership at this course.

Nice Course - Tough Greens
The course in mid June was in good shape. The greens were still very nice, but very difficult. The fairways were in very good shape. The tee boxes could use some work, but didn't effect play too much. The front 9 holes are all exactly the same which can get boring, but the back 9 has good variety. Nice views at this course. Carts are in OK shape, I wish they had more markers. I would play this course again. You get what you pay for and the price does hit the sweet spot. Make sure your putting game is on, or you will lose 10 strokes to the difficult greens.

You get what you pay for
The course in general was in good condition, greens were good but I would definitely play here if you are a beginner or just learning how to play. The course is very straight forward on the front 9 and honestly kind of boring. The back 9 I would recommend it was miles better than the front 9. More challenging and honestly pretty fun. I went out on a Saturday and got stuck in a line of 3-5 carts at every tee box because nobody knew how to play and would hit the ball about 15 yards in front of them. It took a long time to play 18 but maybe I caught it at the wrong time. You get what you pay for. It’s not a bad course by any means but spend the money elsewhere if you know how to play but I definitely would recommend for people with a lower skill level or people just trying to get back “into the swing of things,” literally lol.

Good Municipal Golf Course
Very friendly staff. Played 18 and theres no 2 holes alike. A very nice mix of easy, medium and difficult holes. Greens roll true, good shape maybe a little slow.

Agawam Municipal Goof Course
I love this course and the beautiful views. However, Being too early in the spring the course is in rough shape. The greens are like concrete and some of the fairways are all beat up. But it is a beautiful cars
