About
Agawam Municipal Golf Course has been a favorite among local golfers since first opening in 1944. It has a traditional layout that offers a few challenges but it's still player friendly enough for golfers of any skill levels. The holes are fairly straightforward but the gently rolling hills provide some subtly tricky elevation changes. There isn't any water on the golf course but there are mature trees lining the fairways. While it may not be what you're looking for if you're an avid golfer who wants a truly formidable test, Agawam Municipal Golf Course is not to be under-estimated. The greens can be tricky to pitch to and accuracy will take you far. This municipal course is a great spot for a quick and casual round that's also affordable.

Had fun
The course was in pretty good condition. Greens were good. This is a good course for the average golfer. Greens fees are about as low as you’ll find anywhere. Good value.
Fun Course
Had a great time playing 18 holes. Course had some soggy areas but overall it was in good shape.
Course improvemet
This course is getting better and better. The new superintendent is doing a great job . Tom.is the very best at customer service and running the operation. A hidden gem in Western Massachusetts.

Great condition
Can't say enough about the tremendous job Tom and his staff have done in getting the course ready to play following a very wet spring. The greens were in great shape. Always a pleasure to play Agawam

Staff is always the best! Course can run slow sometimes but hey just enjoy the beautiful weather and a beverage while you wait.
Great experience and value
This is my second year playing Agawam Muni, and it’s becoming one of my go-to courses. The staff and other players are always friendly and the atmosphere is very chill and enjoyable. The course is relatively well maintained throughout the season, even the very beginning and the very end. The course is manageable yet still challenging. The tough greens on the front 9, and the elevation changes on the back 9 (hole #9 as well) keeps things interesting through the round.
The clubhouse is quite casual and there are no frills, but is as good or better than many other municipal courses I’ve played. The back patio overlooking the practice green and surrounding hills is a great place to start and finish a round of golf that has always left me feeling like I got a lot for my money.
