Back nine closed
Waverly was in great shape as always. The only knock on it was that the back nine was closed for aeration but they didn't disclose that on the website prior to booking.
We were threatened with death by a very large dog
We were threatened with death by a very large dog on the 10th hole.What was surprising was that the dog's owner was someone who worked at a golf course.The owner of the big dog saw us running away screaming.But he didn't even apologize to us and just called the big dog and disappeared.
I have complained to the office twice and office worker told me he will report to manager .
Be very careful when playing golf in Weverlygolf.
Good family outing
The course condition was great considering heavy rains a few days before. Due to extreme temperature, the pace of the play was great being able to finish the round in 4 hours.
Value for the money - Cannot give 5 stars but I would still play here because its proximity to where we live. We used to play here a lot but not lately so much due to high prices...
Waverly Woods
Waverly is a decent course, but to echo other reviewers, it's definitely overpriced. It's a slightly above average course, but it's priced like it's some elite golf club. You'll typically have to pay over $100, but it's just not up to that caliber of golf course. If this was a $60-70 course, I'd give it 4 stars, but at the current price point it's 3 stars. Course conditions, layout, and the clubhouse are all solid. Nothing spectacular, but generally good.
Good shape for the season
Course is close to home, generally in very good shape, and the staff are nice! What’s not to like?
