Waverly Woods Golf Course

It was a great day to play. There was a frost warning, and I got a phone call to give me a heads-up of a possible 30-minute delay. This was a shock and the first time I ever got a phone call. The staff was very friendly, the course is the best in the area, and the greens were very, very fast. It was a fun but frustrating at times. Great food in the clubhouse.

Very nice. Immaculate condition. Clubhouse good use some enhancements.

My golf buddies like playing here in our rotation. 20 minutes from home. Can't beat it.

Played with son at 7a and played in 3 hours and two minutes. We would have finished on under three hours but stopped a few times to soak in the natural beauty of the course. Course was in great shape. Worth the price!

Another Kemper owned course that's way over priced along with using the “dynamic pricing” crap, and doesn't even give the golfers the decency to inform them they had aerated the greens until you see the starter at Hole

The "gentleman" at the front desk of the pro-shop threatened to double charge me because our fourth canceled last minute, of which I understand tell me you're going to double charge me just do it instead of saying "oh you might get double charged", then change your mind when someone else of the group says "if you get double charge we'll split between the 3 of us". Terrible customer service, over priced and not all that great.

Fairways and greens in excellent shape (except for people not repairing their own divots and pitch marks but that’s not courses fault)

Lots of ravines and elevation changes so bring your A game. Prices kinda high but good weekday afternoon prices some times. It was 92 degrees day we played and nearly had course to ourselves!! Thank you for having drinking water on the course!! Gave us a small bag of ice at turn to keep our cooling towels cold and wet.

One of my foursome could not attend. Three showed up and paid. The course, however, charged me for 3 people. I understand being charged for the one person. Charging me for three tee times - ostensibly being charged for six people - seems excessive. Furthermore, the course had a single, walk-on, golfer join my group.

I am sorry that the course felt that one person not showing up for a tee time permitted it to charge so excessively.

Unlikely to book a tee time again at a course I’ve played many times.

We had a very pleasant day at Waverly Woods. There's plenty of parking, and the check-in process was smooth with friendly staff. My partner rented clubs of good quality that were a bit soiled. The course has bent-grass fairways and fescue rough. I was able to putt from the fescue a few times, but no more than 18 inches off the green. The course is nicely spread out and some fairways have significant slope and some have forced carries to the large undulating greens. The greens are fast and true, and I was more successful on and near the greens than in reaching the greens.
