WAVERLY OR TIMBERS?
Wow what a difference...did Timbers maintenance staff walk out or something?? Waverly was in perfect condition, much better value for the money!!
Great Course - Please for the love of golf fix your divots and ball marks
Waverly is a great trek, and in great shape - it could be even better if golfers did their due diligence on the greens and fairways
Good Course
Course was in good condition, greens had just been aerated however. Usually a $100 tee time, but was cut down to $75 which was appreciated, but still with aeration don't know if that was worth the cost. If it were around $60 with the aeration that would be much more worth it, but overall staff was friendly and the rest of the course was in good shape.
Great course if you get a deal
My favorite course in Maryland. Layout is tough but enjoyable. Some fun dog legs, tough par 5s, and super friendly staff. Highly recommend
No Heads Up on Closed Holes
A little bummed to get there and find out two of the holes are closed for some snow on them when other holes also had snow. No forward communication about the hole closure on golf now and seemly no discounted rate for it.
Like the course and the staff, just disappointed in the lack of communication and direct as to how we should handle the closure. If we tried to play 1 and 18 again we’d have run into people
Thanksgiving day
They told me the golf course was closing early and they didn't even give me a cart and told me to walk to exercise. The green fee included the cost of a cart, but they took it in full and didn't give me a cart. I don't want to go there again and I don't recommend it to others.
Overpriced
Course is way over priced compared to other courses in the area. Carts are slow and old. Conditions were okay and range balls were included but there are several other courses relatively close to this one that are better value. One thing I appreciated was their attention to pace of play, many courses in the area don't enforce this.
Great course
The staff as usual are extremely friendly. The course conditions are unbelievable. Everything is well kept and they are doing a great job in keep the leaves to a minimum despite the Fall conditions. Most holes are nice layouts. A few holes have an “interesting” layout. Overall had a great time as usual. It is pricey though.
Pristine
This course is always in great shape, tee boxes, fairways and greens. One of my favorite courses to play. The staff are nice. This is the second year in a row I’ve had my birthday golf outing at WW. After the service I received this year, WW will become my official birthday outing course. I highly recommend it.
Great public course
I play this course all the time. Right now the course is in excellent condition. Tee boxes and fairways are really nice. The greens are firm and well kept. The rough is fair. Overall its a nice layout with a few “funky” hole layouts. They have nice practice areas. The staff is very helpful and friendly especially at the bar.
