Waverly Woods Golf Course

I just played my 2nd round at waverly golf course and after buying a good amount of merchandise from the club house (had a great sale) I loaded up my clubs and went to the starter. I was by myself like I am most of the time due to no friends that play golf or just no friends lol I’ll leave that up to you, anyway after talking the talk with Joel (the starter) joe the guy I was pairs with showed up, he was about my age maybe a little younger, anyway he was a local here at the course and really helped me out with. Where to hit the ball and where not to go. I just had 10 stitches put in my calf so putty my tee in was a chore but anyway we zipped through the front 9 in well under 3 joy it at hole 10 we caught the back up. I really enjoyed the course but the green fees are a little high imo I used golf now to get a still high but better price of 60 something for winter golf and cart path only. All and all I had a good experience and would love to play spring or summer golf but I just don’t know

There was a bit of a frost delay in the morning but it didn't impact us much. The course played fast. Be advised it is cart path only throughout winter like some others are now (we knew that going in, see we prepared accordingly). It was in good shape, perhaps slightly more wet than Waverly normally is (usually very dry). Overall a good day. Probably will be back next once it warms up.

The course was beautiful and well maintained. Lots of work with the leaves and mowing are evident. I ended up playing by myself on a beautiful Friday afternoon and it was one of the most memorable rounds in a long time. Felt like it was own personal golf course! The yardage from the cart is a nice touch and the staff was all very friendly.

Great course, go before 1 and play a 3 1/2 hour round! Love how they give warm up balls! Prices are a bit high but that’s Just golf now l

the australian lady that works in the kitchen is the best!!!

We had a 9AM tee time for 2 and there was no one in front of us until we caught them at the 16th hole, about 2 hours and 30 minutes after starting our round. The greens were fast and fairways cut. A very challenging layout with very slippery greens. Don't be on the uphill side with your approach. Will make this one of our go to courses!

Everything about Waverly Woods is beautiful. Starts with the very friendly staff. Easy tee times and they are very acccomodating. Lovely pro shop and bar. You can just hang out in the bar. Solid practice facility. Fair test of golf. Lush fairways. Good sandy bunkers. True greens all the way through. You get the picture. I love this place. !!!!!!!!!

Waverly is a great golf course. We had a good time.
