We had a 9AM tee time for 2 and there was no one in front of us until we caught them at the 16th hole, about 2 hours and 30 minutes after starting our round. The greens were fast and fairways cut. A very challenging layout with very slippery greens. Don't be on the uphill side with your approach. Will make this one of our go to courses!

Everything about Waverly Woods is beautiful. Starts with the very friendly staff. Easy tee times and they are very acccomodating. Lovely pro shop and bar. You can just hang out in the bar. Solid practice facility. Fair test of golf. Lush fairways. Good sandy bunkers. True greens all the way through. You get the picture. I love this place. !!!!!!!!!

Course reminders - nice!!

Waverly's always a good time but I want to specifically compliment your golf pro Joe in the clubhouse. He did something I don't hear done at golf courses anymore. He reminded the group checking in in front me, and then myself, to fix ball marks, divots, and most importantly KEEP PACE with the people playing ahead of them. The Starter (whose name escapes me, but I see him and talk to him all the time.... retired cop...), did the same. THANK YOU!! No one does this anymore.

Waverly Woods in Peak Form

I've been playing Waverly Woods since the course opened in the 90's. From the time you check-in, to the course conditions, to the 19th hole, I think it may be the best it's ever been right now. It's not often a course hits its peak 25 years in but Waverly Woods has done it. The price is good for the experience, the staff is wonderful, pace of play is good (for a public golf course), your superintendent has the greens running like ice, and the fairways are in good shape. Food is excellent and reasonably priced, and the bartenders are very hospitable, especially Natasha. I'm a member at Rolling Road but found myself playing Waverly Woods just as much this past year.
