Great Value
No joke - this is a fantastic jewel for a 9 hole course. Some of the locals told me it is in the best shape in years. The greens are awesome, fairways lush and it has some darn good holes on it. Pace of play 2 hours on the nose. Great patio to have a cold one and look over the course
Great Value
Many walkers. Course is fairly open. A few tricky holes with blind drops or dog legs, but fun. Distances are hard to judge with a few steep uphill lies. But course in good condition and good value.
Great course
Course is great. Not particularly challenging but there are some strategically placed, deep, bunkers around most of the greens that make you sweat a bit. The course was well maintained, well laid out, and the staff was very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Superb, even when a little wet under foot
Great greenkeeping and wonderful 9-hole conveniently places close to Boston (45 mins or so away from the center not far from Route 2 along Route 27)

A bit wet this morning, however alot of rain in last 24 hours. Greens in excellent condition.
Increased prices for a poorly maintained course
This course is is a decent layout but pretty poorly maintained which uses to be fine when a weekend time was cheap and easy to come by spur of the moment. With more people golfing they’ve raised their prices in line with most decent courses weekend rates but there’s still the same greens with dirt patches in the middle of them and rock hard uneven tee boxes.
Fun 9 hole course
Just played Maynard for the first time and it was a fun little course. Definitely challenging enough without a ton of length or hazards. Greens were still a little rough but I guess that’s to be expected considering that it’s March in New England. Overall a great value and I’ll definitely play there again in the future.

Great round in a foursome on Saturday AM. Off the tees at 740 and done before 10. Great layout and pace.
