Where’s Mr. Ranger?
EZ check in. Great practice area. Most cart paths need help! 16 fairway and 18 green in rough shape. Our threesome waited on EVERY HOLE, not a ranger in sight despite a call to the pro shop. 4 1/2 hr round should’ve been at least 30 minutes faster. I’d say the greens fee is steep for the conditions given. My deal on Golf Now made it reasonable. Def not worth $135
Great round/ Maybe easy on the rangers
I played this course in high school all the time before moving to Florida so this was a treat playing back here again especially with the changes they made to the course. We also had my cousin with us who had his first day of high school tryouts the following day so it was great timing.
Mr Dabrowski in the pro shop is one of the best guys around and so knowledgeable about the course and friendly greets you with a smile and enthusiasm but coming up 17 we had a ranger come flying out saying we were 7 minutes behind schedule with nobody in front or behind us (which isn't a big deal) just odd to do that on 17 and his approach was just really rude to us. Besides that, very underrated gem of a course in plymouth, definitely a "must play" If your visiting!!!!
They have the money...
For $130, I wouldn't expect and don't accept the conditions. Brown spots on multiple greens and clearly not tending to fairways. Ridder Farms Golf Club is in better condition (except the awful traps at Ridder) and less than half the money. Staff was great, but we couldn't even get lunch after the round because they had back-to-back weddings on Friday and Saturday. So they closed the grill on a Sunday? Seems to me like the owner is more concentrated on the wedding income vs. Golf income.
Worth The Drive
Course provides a number of difficult holes, but with 4 different sets of tees, most golfers will enjoy this course. It’s always in good shape, but can sometimes, more often than not, can be plagued with slow play which has been the case the past two times I’ve played the course. They need to have a ranger out on the course from time to time to ensure a 4 hour round.
Stay clear of this place
Biggest rip off around. Most of fairways had dead spots all over. Teed off at 318. Very slow play no ranger in site to move it along except on the 18 tee box. When he appears. We got to the box at 740 sun was dropping but plenty of light to finish. Ranger refused to let us play the last hole. We even asked if we could drop close to green and finish it out. He took delight in saying no and his reasoning was they needed carts back. Incredible that’s how they treat their paying customers. I was told just have carts in before 8pm. We will never be back. Go to cross winds down the street half the price and better course.
Great experience
Perfect conditions
Pace perfect
Well worth the price
Thank you Golf Now😉😘
Keep up the good work 👍😊
Too pricey for it’s money.
Place in good shape, looks like a ghost town from the pro shop to the grille, almost like they don’t want the business.. Aside from convenience, not sure they could host these prices with a straight face.
Great layout, not worth weekend rate
Great layout. Played multiple rounds over the years. It’s a great value at twilight rates, but condition of course is not on par with what you pay, especially the greens and bunkers.
Frustrating that I brought a packed lunch in a yeti cooler but since “coolers aren’t allowed” I had to empty lunch into golf bag. I understand no outside alcohol but wanting to keep fruit and snacks cool.
Player etiquette
Course was great. Fair layout. Couple quirky holes. Greens got faster as they dried out. Only issue is no one fixed divots in the fairways and ball marks on the greens. It’s not hard and it’s part of the game.
Great place would play it again tomorrow if I could.
