Good opportunity to play a private course
The course was in okay condition for this time of year. A little disappointed that on more than one occasion after a good drive had to try to find a good spot to place the ball because the fairway was lacking good grass. Also I like to play 6000-6100 yards or so but my choices were 5800 or 6300+. Would have been nice to have another set of tees in between those choices. Overall a good value to play a private course ($65 thru GolfNow)
Early spring golf
For March this course was in great shape already! Greens were rolling nice. Can’t wait for it to get some more sun and rain!!
Classic
Well designed layout in excellent condition with fast,true greens and well filled bunkers. Always a pleasure to play!
Gem of a track
Pristine conditions and a fun , challenging layout made for a fantastic round of golf . We tee’ed off early in the AM and finished 18 in 3 hours and 45 minutes. This was my first experience playing Seggy . I’ve played almost 1300 holes of golf this year and I would say this was one of my favorite rounds . I will be back to play again soon and I’d highly recommend playing Segregansett if you haven’t had the opportunity .

Best greens around,,challenging layout,,pace was fine... becoming my favorite course !
Best conditions
Seggy is a diamond in the rough. Never a bad round there and the conditions are better than any other in the Mass/RI area.
