Great greens
Greens in great shape. Hardly any pitch marks and they roll true. Fairway and tee boxes in good shape. Walked 18 in 3 hours (nobody in front of me and I played alone).
Fun course with a good layout that is very walkable.
Staff was a little standoff-ish. Seemed like that since I bought on golfnow they were a little annoyed as I'm not a 'member'. Nevertheless I enjoyed the course. FYI - I played on a Monday and there wasn't a beverage cart or ranger out.
Long Grass
Grass was too long, lost many balls that were in fairways. Pace of play super slow.
Segregansett is a real gem
Course was in excellent shape tee to green. Rough was a bit long and difficult to play from. Very friendly staff.

Course, the greens in particular, in great shape. Pace of play good (just over 4 hours), overall a great day.

Great course. Not too expensive. Excellent conditions. Great day for sure!! Zero complaints
Beautiful course
We always enjoy playing this course. The property is beautiful and the course if fun and interesting. Always in great shape. The only downside is the clubhouse closes too early, can never get any food or drinks later in the afternoon. Highly recommend the course though.
So good I want to keep it a secret
I have tried to play Seggie once or twice each summer. It is challenging but fair. The tee boxes, fairway, bunkers a greens are well maintained. The staff and members always seem friendly. The rough can be “rough”.
Enjoy the course but not too much as I want to be able to get out there again soon.
Challenging but worth it
Course is long and greens are difficult especially if you are above the hole. Pro shop staff was very friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth playing and hope you enjoy the challenge as much as I did!
We were put behind three foursome on an outing. One person a member. They played from white tees and were slow all day. Numerous holes we had all three groups waiting. Complained to club house and were shrugged off saying it was a members outing. Round took 5 and a half hours in 90 degree. Cart girl didn’t show till fourteen hole. Will not be booking back at segregganset. Shame nice layout.
The golf course is in excellent condition from tees to fairways to greens.The course is long especially for those of us that play the senior tees. The holes are challenging as the layout is difficult with the marsh areas and the the existing water hazards. The greens are challenging and fast .You certainly want to be below the hole. Overall it was an enjoyable experience but at times very frustrating. The staff is friendly especially in the pro shop.
Glass
Like putting on glass always makes for an interesting round. FAST greens, fun course, I had a lot of fun but probably could have done with dozens of maintenance crews following us around all day.
