close but not quite
Shot 90 , I didn't have any really bad holes maybe 1 triple bogie but just missed putts slightly enough to miss. The course is stil good shape compared too a year ago at this time., pretty much dry conditions for us but they are trying to keep the course this good , a few bare spots but hey its better than last years conditions. You gotta play here if you like a challenge. It's tough.
Hopefully next week will be the week to break 90 here.
19 Handicap. just submitted 14 scores.

Disappointed
I golf this course quite a bit and have always enjoyed it and had a great experience. Today was a great weather day , sun out course dry and green. Very unhappy why they would tell us today cart paths only on all holes. To keep carts just on the paths and walk across the fairways to the ball if you hit to the left was horrible. It didn’t make one bit of sense what they were thinking. If I knew this I would of booked somewhere else. When I rent A cart , other than the par threes , on a sunny dry day I expect to drive on the fairways.. next time I will make sure carts can be driven on the fairways moving forward.. although I have always been very happy playing here , today was very frustrating and made no sense Today, no, I would not recommend this course.,,
Great course
Considering the summer temps the course was in great condition
Played Blue Tee Box
Ok, Wife & I joined a few guys they paired us with and they played Blue Tee box so I said to keep play the same I would play Blue, I was surprised how good I played I shot a 95 but that's from the Blue Tee's almost 6700 yard Long & for me for sure and most am's don't play Blue or that length of yardage. I was happy at the end of the round & Looking Forward to Friday 9-04 to play again.
The Staff is great, very Friendly.
This is a must play course, go have some fun good or bad rounds included. The greens here are really good shape & fast on most.

Augusta Vibes, Hidden Gem
Pembroke CC has my approval for a few reasons. 1. only public driving range without matts, pure grass driving range. 2. Great pace of play enforced by rangers 3. short course, but feels long and definitely tests your long irons 4. great layout, not too many cookie-cutter holes. 5. great water features 6. Greenest of grass 7. greens rolling so true, and definitely quick
Someone let out two Fivesomes which was a drag on the people behind them. This slowed the pace of play and caused a lot of wait time at each hole. Not fair to other golfers.
Great but why
Best course around still in beautiful shape. Only thing is why we couldn’t drive on the course at all. Why pay for carts if we are walking the whole time anyways.
didn't quite get their
Shot an 93 but i'm trying to break 90 some day maybe. If you hit 200 yards off the tee from white markers and you can keep it under a hundred or 90 your playing good golf.
You Need to play this course and shame on you if you do not.
Don't take play to serious, enjoy the time on the golf course.

Terrific layout .... demanding long par 4's
Always good shape ... excellent greens - fast and smooth
Great course, terrible landscaper etiquette!
Beautiful course, and very well manicured!
So well, that it seemed that every landscaper was on duty and working around us the entire round. There was rarely a hole where there was not a piece of machinery running in our ears, including one where a man was LITERALLY chopping a fallen tree with a chainsaw, 50 feet away from the green while we were putting.
As a new golfer, it was very challenging and distracting to have so much noise around while trying to concentrate. There were times that we were staring down a guy on a huge ride-on lawn mower from the tee box, while waiting to drive. And I swear he was totally oblivious.
It is my understanding that etiquette is a huge part of golf, and the landscaping going on constantly, so close to us while we were playing, felt borderline offensive.
Today was my 10th time golfing in the past month, and this was my first time ever experiencing how much noise can be difficult to play through.
Again, the course is beautiful, but I feel like I didn't get to enjoy it because of the distractions, which is exactly what I DON'T expect at a golf course...especially a country club of this caliber.
Good Course Bad Day
This is usually a really nice course to play but must have picked the wrong day. The course wasn't in the great condition I remember it to be before. Also, was extremely hot out and the clubhouse wasn't open to get drinks or snacks. Pro shop had limited drinks and snacks and said clubhouse would open at 10:00. We waited and still wasn't open at 10:05. There's a stand with vending machine on the back 9 but nobody is ever in that stand and vending machine never works. It's more of an eye sore for the course and frustrating to see when you don't have anything to drink. For a course that has a strict no cooler policy, you would think clubhouse would be open, vending machine on back 9 would work, or would have refreshment cart running the course. Other than that, grounds were average and play was a little slow but okay. This is usually a 4 star course and could be 5 star with a little attention to detail on certain things.
Horrible condition
Staff was friendly and we teed off on time and played at a very nice pace. Was told cart path only after we paid. I would have brought my trolley and walked if I had known that. None of the cart paths were paved and it was like riding on a minefield for,18 holes and getting shaken all day. The fairways were almost totally bare and hard Pan with no grass. Rough was rocks and hard pan and debris from trees that probably was never picked up in spring cleanup. Bunkers had lots of stones. Fringes were dirt. Greens were all discolored with apparent mold and the slowest you could ever play on. The surrounding areas were all in disrepair with debris everywhere , stones , and wood supports on tees etc were all broken down and rotted. A great piece of ground and potentially a great layout in just horrible condition. Paid $69 on a Monday and felt like I had my pocket picked. Lots of very nice courses just south of there in Plymouth. Will never go back nor would I recommend it for anybody. Terrible value for what they deliver.
I should have played better
The course was tough again, its my goal to break 90 here and I had my chances but cored 94 my low so far is 92 but I hope it happens as this course play hard & tough
the people we have tee'd with say the same thing its hard and you need to be on your game to score well here. Looking forward to next weekend to play again.
Clyde
played again
the course got me again just under a hundred 97 , some day I am hoping to break 90 on this course hitting from the white and not being a big hitter its hard to get to par 4 holes in 2 , the par threes got me good today that's on me I just didn't put or chip well.
Enjoy the course.

I could not agree more. Many better more economical courses options available on the South Shore. Lack of a 9 hole rate is frustrating as well.
