Pierce Lake Golf Course

My wife and I played. I went in to pay, it was for 9 holes-senior rate as we are both over 65. I asked the attendant how much was 9 vs 18. He informed me that 9 holes riding was $24 and 18 holes riding was $29. At that point I asked if we finish the 9 and decide to play 18 what would the charge be, He stated that it would be an additional $5 per player. When we finished the 9, my wife decided to play another 9. I went in to pay, and I was then told that it would be an additional $13 each. That would have made the entire cost, $37 each, when their rate online for seniors are $29. Told the to shove it.

Course was reduced to just the front 9 available for play due to maintenance on the back nine for the cart paths. This was a non issue for me I decided to play the front twice.

I was able to be matched up with 2 other golfers that actually worked at the golf course as rangers. John and Tom we great ambassadors for Pierce Lake. I had a great time playing the 18 with them both. The course was in great shape and the greens were very challenging. I will definitely try and get back out a few times at the course before the snow flies.

Course was in very good shape. The greens looked very nice but didn’t putt true. Back was more challenging with tight tree lined fairways and grassy areas to carry The play was slow. There were a couple walkers in the group ahead of us that slowed the pace. Over all a very good course that I look forward to playing again

Wide landing areas and large, quick, greens. Bunkers and greens are very well kept. There was a couple holes where the fairway was patchy but other than that, it's as well kept as you could ask for from a public course. Played at noon on a monday in about 3hours and didn't see anyone infront or behind us until the 18th hole. Staff was friendly. Would definitely recommend this course.

I booked round on Golf Now and was a great price. Was a single and was to be paired up with a threesome. The didn’t show by tee time so the starter said go ahead by yourself if you want. A little slow of pace but much better than an usual weekend. Started to rain and course cleared out and had place to myself and had a great round. I really don’t mind getting wet. My choice. Course held conditions well. Nice challenge and really feels like it puts you in touch with nature. Seen lots of wildlife and is a preTry course. Worth the trip.

Nice course. Greens are in great shape and running fast. Tee boxes could be kept in better shape as well as some spots in FW. Overall a nice and fun course!

Pierce Lake is one of the nicest layouts of any course around...coupled with being well maintained makes it a great 18.

The back tees are extremely challenging and pace of play is generally good...they have a good staff that keeps things rolling.

Came from Georgia to visit family, I was impressed with the conditions of this course. Tee boxes, greens and bunkers were in excellent shape and well maintained. The layout is good, a challenging course. Greens are fast, so it cost me in few holes. I am playing again before heading back home.
