Pierce Lake Golf Course

Very nice course. definitely recommend. During this covid time they spaced out tee times so pace of play was excellent. No one in front or behind our foursome. Excellent day!!

Early in this weird year Pierce Lake is in excellent shape...greens roll well and fairways are great.

It's a little longer to walk with some holes on back 9 designed for playing with a cart...but hopefully those restrictions will be lifted soon.

Definitely one of the best loops around!!!

You forget that this is a public course because it is so well-maintained. They made several upgrades to the bridges and the greens are in great shape for May. Still a great price for a nice course, I really have nothing I could complain about!

A quality muni that was in very good shape despite the obviously soaked state that is out of their control. The fairways and greens drained well. I liked the layout and design. A bit of tough walk with several long jaunts from green to tee. Great looking holes, well framed off the tee. You had to work it both ways. I like a course that makes you choose your play from the tee, some nice risk reward holes.

ALWAYS enjoyed playing this course in past years. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and late year course improvements, was unable to schedule play this year. I REALLY missed the play, scenery and ambiance of this well kept course. I SHALL RETURN!

Played today and I always like playing here and conditions for this time of year were awesome...best greens of any course I've played recently.

Pierce Lake is best course for the value around.

First, if you want to end your day properly you have to visit the Common Grill in Chelsea. It is not to be missed for four star food.

I have played Pierce Lake a number of times. It does get busy and pace of play can be a problem especially on #18 with the highly challenging part 3 over the junk. Not a short poke. The course is always well kept otherwise. The greens put true. There is a tee for for everyone.

Overall great place, I just didn’t like the starter adding a stranger to our group, it wasn’t that crowded

This was my first time playing Pierce Lake. Course is well maintained and challenging. Tee boxes fairways and greens in excellent condition! Very friendly staff. Would highly recommend!

Chelsea is quite a hike for us but getting out to this course is always worth the trip.

All is great at this course. However I would bring cheap golf balls. Lots of wetland and unplayable areas that eat your ball. Can’t find it. Especially if first time playing. Not long but not easy.

Course layout is challenging but fair...one of my favorite course around

Hadn’t played there in long time but it was great day for golf. Played straight through with no waites which was unusual for how busy it was. Carts were good. Various tee boxes which changes some holes immensely so you can fit your skill level.

Very scenic course With a lot of wasteland. Blind tee shots and elevated greens. Tough to navigate the first time around. Looking forward to playing again.

I've been playing this course several times a week on average since taking up golf 7 years ago. The layout and holes provide a good challenge to the intermediate golfer. With tee boxes well designed to change the look of many, if not all the holes, taking the course from easy to challenging.

For the amount of play the course is always in great condition. Greens had been running slow this year with all the rain, but are starting to speed up. There are several holes prone to cart path only when rains are heavy.

Speaking of cart paths... In need of major repairs across the course. Along with most all of the cart and walking bridges in need of replacement. Heard these items are being scheduled for repairs.

Some additional features on the course would be nice, like a fairway clear bell on #15 and steps to the #18 green. Upgraded sand in many bunkers would also be nice.

Along with upgraded carts to include GPS and windshields!!! These have almost become expected at every other similar quality course I've played.

Course conditions would rate 5 stars with those additions.

Club house has the basics with friendly staff and great service.

I have been playing this course since it was opened. It is one of the best public courses in Washtenaw county! The greens are comparable to those you find at Leslie Park or the U of M Big Blue course! Keep up the good work!
