As always the course was in great shape and playing hard and fast. If you play from the appropriate tees the Meadows is "challenging" but fair. Today we played in 90 degree heat with 20 mph winds and the course was even more "challenging" than normal but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves trying to take the wind into account on all of our shots, even putts. Do yourself a favor and arrive early enough to fully utilize the practice area, chipping and putting greens and then stay late to enjoy the "19th Hole."

2 players infront of us playing 2 balls we asked them twice to not do that as they were slowing play down, they continued. Told ranger on the turn he also told them not to do that, that lasted 1 hole. Had a confrontation with the2 ball players after some harsh words they let us play thru. We paced almost 2 holes ahead of the and we could see they were holding other players up behind them. Addressed this with the club manager and all he said was “yes we heard that”.. Leads me ti believe that 2 ball play is acceptable on this course.

This is a very nice course with some visually appealing and interesting holes. It’s plenty challenging. It’s a little frayed around the edges. Some of the areas around tee boxes and greens could use attention. This is based on expectations for a course that is used to teach golf course management. The practice area feels like an afterthought and a messy one at that.

The Meadows offers a fair but challenging links layout at a very affordable rate. The course was in very good condition, with the greens and fairways in top shape. The tee boxes were pretty good as well, although a couple were off level. We played on a early Sunday morning which may be the cause for no beverage cart on the course - not great on a warm July day.

Always in good condition. Only thing missing was on course beverage cart. Would have been nice on the 4th.

Two people in front of the group in front of us were hitting about 3 or 4 off the tee box on every hole. No ranger to stop them or make them let others play thru. Over 5-hours to play 18 with a cart. We were all waiting on every shot. Nobody in front of the doorknobs for 4 holes. We should have passed them, played the rest of the holes and got our money back.
