Excellent
Had a lot of fun playing here! Only played the front 9, but the layout was a great mix of fairness and challenge. Some holes the tee shot is the most difficult, others the challenge lies on the green. Very balanced golf course with it’s fair share of risk/reward opportunities. Especially the par 5s! Conditions were also very good considering I tee’d off around 6pm. Overall great course with really nice practice facility! Will definitely be coming back!
Nice course, but needs an active Ranger
This course is a nice test of golf. The course was not the challenge. It was the foursome ahead of us that were clueless to their slow play.
Normally, a course Ranger will note that holes are open ahead of a slow group -- and ask them to move it along. No ranger here. At 2 hours after 9 holes, we chose not to complain. It was only after finished in 4:45 minutes that I asked to see the manager, and suggested they need a Ranger to drive the course, speeding up those who slow play.

The set up of the course was really nice. Fairways and greens were in good shape. The greens ran very true

Beautiful course
I really enjoyed my round at the Meadows. It's very links-y and I love that! I was a little disappointed that the people I was paired with didn't want to play the round with me, but that's not the courses fault. I had never played there and was hoping for some local knowledge. I think the course is maintained at the highest level one could expect, the layout is super fun but not quite enough dogleg/elevation, and the carts didn't have GPS. I lost 5/6 golf balls and 4 of them could have been avoided. But the greens....OMG! Immaculate! I rolled in a 40 footer for bird on the first par 5! They roll extremely smooth and true! I will be back.

Appreciated starter recognizing our skill level & allowing us to go at our pace & golf back 9. Stress-free & superb setting.
Meadows GVSU
Played a quick 9 this morning. A friend is visiting from my hometown and he’s an avid golfer. He was VERY impressed with the course. It has been almost 20 years since I have played it and is everything I remember. Such a jewel in western Michigan.
Starters were aggressive with pace play
The course was beautiful and a great to play. My only complaint was the starter was very pushy with play pace. We had a a foursome and when we came to the bend after the first nine we were told we were playing to slow. We completed the first 9 in 2:04. For the difficulty of the course this was great time.
