Wet day but great golf
Played on a Thursday afternoon where it was raining a little bit on and off most of the day. This course has hosted NCAA championships and is a great test of golf, with many interesting holes and challenges. The greens were lightning quick and the course conditions were excellent from tee to green. We didn't have any issues with pace of play, especially on the back nine, possibly due to the weather. Would love to play here again!
Good course. Too many players.
Great layout. Very well maintained, especially the greens.
Too many people: Played behind a FIVE-some; solo golfers cutting around the course, looking for openings; HS golf teams taking up all of the practice areas.
Nice layout
Very nice course in excellent condition. Tremendous practice facility.
Disappointing
Gave my son a gift certificate for Christmas to play together. Scheduled a tee-time for 2 and we were paired with 2 other singles. We were both bummed. Probably not going back because I’d rather golf with only the person / people I choose to go with. If I was by myself, not as big of a deal, but would have much preferred an option to deselect golfing with others even if it meant paying more.
Beautiful Coarse
I'm a senior (76) that has played golf most of my life. Just enjoy the game. The game isn't as kind to me as in the past but The Meadows was very enjoyable. Best greens i've putted on in years. Must of had rain for some of the sand traps were holding water. Fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. I really enjoyed playing The Meadows.
Best course
You all take great care of your course. What a super course to have in Michigan.
The meadows
There was an event earlier in the day and the players didn’t fix ball marks on the greens. The course was in great shape outside of that like it always is. Always love playing the course and Go Lakers!
Very good course
I had fun playing this course. I shot higher than I do at other courses but none of the other courses I shoot are as challenging as this one. I don't know if I would want to play here every time I golfed but I had a very good time playing there today.
Destination Kohler - Champions' Trail Golf Package
If you don't want to be paired up with anyone, you will need to book and pay for a foursome. Tee times are typically prretty full at most high quality courses, and they prefer to fill foursomes to maximize their revenue.
