Great gem in the country
Beautiful course. One of the best courses in the area!
Great Round
Conditions were great, from tee boxes, to fairway to greens the course was well taken care of. 8:30 am tee time and didn’t wait on any hole yet we saw plenty of golfers
Hidden gem
Very enjoyable Easter Sunday round of golf. Course was in very nice shape at this early point of this season. Staff is very friendly and courteous.
Had a great outing, Pete worked with us and made it great.
31 golfers enjoyed the course and the staff even after an hour frost delay. Pete ( owner manager) worked with us to make this a great outing, thanks Pete .
The definition of “hidden gem”
I love this course. It is definitely linksy with minimal trees. I love the design and the conditions of tees, fairways and greens are always top notch. The only knock is that the bunkers aren’t up to the same level as the rest but given their price point, that isn’t surprising (considering bunkers are the highest cost to maintain). It is a course I could play every day!
Hidden Gem
This is a beautiful course set off the beaten path. My only complaint would be the length of the rough. Just a bit too long for my liking, so prepare for that. Still, I recommend playing this course to all levels of golfers.
Still a great course
Having not played Hunter's Ridge for over 10 yrs I was hopeful it was still in as good a condition as i remembered and i was not disappointed. The fairways and greens are very well maintained and the speed of the greens was quite good. There had been a massive storm during the night before we played, not only was the course open for play but it had drained exceptionally well, only a very few areas with any noticeable standing water and those were not really in play. Great value and a must play in the Howell/Brighton area.
Great course!
Course is always in extremely good condition. Heather will catch shots that are sprayed, but course is very playable. Very scenic with nice elevation changes on a few holes. Would play it more often if it was closer. Can't beat the price!
Great Value
I can't imagine, anybody giving this course a bad review, unless they had a bad round and needed something to blame: great tee boxes, fairways and greens. Plain and simple, Hunters Ridge is a nice!

Well maintained course
This is a nicely maintained course with good greens and a fun layout.
Fun layout and design
Great track and fun layout, worth the drive! Par 3's have teeth from the tips, plenty of trouble if you spray it around but you can score, greens have character and roll true but they were tough to hold. It's a fun course and very playable, blue tees around 6100 and tips 6600

Fun to play!
We were greeted with a golf cart when we parked in the parking lot and our bags were loaded on to the golf cart by the attendant..... nice start!! Staff was very friendly.... Course is very open. Some difficult greens. Decent shape. This is a $25.00 course. Pace of play was not the greatest.
Soggy, yet satisfying
Staff was slightly rude, giving me sass towards repairing greens. I am guessing this course gets it fair share or kids, drunks, and weekend warriors. Course is a great ball strikers layout. Can't spray tee shots on this course. Greens are very undulated, making for some interesting pin placements. If this course brought more money in, it would be an amazing place to challenge your game.
Pleasant surprise
Nice layout with some challenging holes. US Open qualifier site in 2001. Excellent par 3's. The staff was helpful and pleasant. The course wasn't in the best of shape due to the cold, wet Spring but I will be back to play it in the summer.
great time at Hunters Ridge
The course had great flow and the staff was great. When we parked, a staff member greeted us with a cart by our car. will defiantly be back.
