12th green. This is a very challenging approach shot on an already long hole bordered by out of bounds on the right. Those three large cavernous bunkers are always a threat. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

The 13th green. What a view of the hole. This is a short risk reward par 4 with a 240 yard carry over the reeds in order to reach the second fairway just short of the green. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

16th green. This is the highest point on the golf course. What a view of the fairway and the willows. Very tough approach shot as it plays 50 feet if not more uphill and it is tough to hold the green even with a wedge. Photo submitted by BuffaloBen15 on 01/04/2022

Course is very pure. Greens can be challenging. If you stay on the fairways and avoid bunkers it’s a very easy course to score on. Challenging elevated holes require you to be accurate off the tee box to set up an easier approach shot. Guy in the clubhouse is always awesome. Allows you to decide to play front or back if you go during twilight in order to get the most play for your pay.
Great experience playing there. The staff is really friendly and professional. It's physically challenging if you choose to walk (in special the back nine holes), so if you struggle with your fitness just pick a cart and enjoy.

Feels like a upnorth course
The gentleman in the clubhouse made you feel very welcoming. Our foursome enjoyed the course

ALWAYS over booked
This course ALWAYS over books! If you buy a single GolfNow hot deal, prepare to be paired with someone else! I can't remember the last time I was there & the first tee wasn't backed up 5 or more carts. Actual course is slightly above average... But ALWAYS over booked, tee boxes are very un-even/a mess , weekends are busy so you gotta park in the boonies, and for whatever reason the carts are all slow! Do yourself a favor and don't pay any more than $30 for 18 holes w/cart.
I apologize for your slow play round. We hope everyone who golfs at Lapeer Country Club enjoys their experience. We have had an extremely busy golf season - all tee times are booked 8 minutes apart as opposed to the 7 minute standard. Please contact me personally if need be. Kelly Nelson, Owner

Great course
Challenging but rewarding. Beautiful grounds and spectacular views. Lots of elevation but greens were forgiving.

Great course
Course was in fantastic condition. Greens are consistent and have some challenging breaks to most. Carts are in good working order. Some reachable par 4s if you’re a big hitter off the tee.

Great course
New to golf but this is one of my favorite courses in lapeer/Oakland county. Brought my buddy that’s an avid golfer and he loved the course as well
