Overall decent, greens in bad shape
We enjoyed Belle River for the most part. Pretty nice course out in the country that we nearly had to ourselves for a Sunday twilight round, so pace of play was no issue. Staff was friendly. Layout was decent but nothing special. Fairways were in pretty good shape. As far as negatives go, the tee boxes were soft enough, but barely had any grass. The carts were not in great shape. We had to push start ours every time to get it moving towards the end of our round. Greens were for the most part in pretty bad shape. Decent sized dry patches could be expected on pretty much every green. I'm hoping the carts and greens get sorted out for next season and the tee boxes are improved, otherwise I'd say that in its current state this course is a bit overpriced.

Fairways were excellent.

For the money, course is perfect. I just wish they'd tend to the tee boxes more. They are pretty hit...
First Off!!
Like this course, wish it was maybe watered more.. some fairways, rough areas, teeboxes hard as a rock.. and a few tee boxes almost unplayable.. that being said, I like the overall layout of course.. greens did have a ton of sand on them..
Best bang for buck
Course has some areas for improvement. But we live in the general area and wish we would have found this hidden gem earlier.

Belle river was in good condition. Fairways green!!!! Some greens were a little rough but considering the weather this summer they were pretty good. Would definitely recommend
Needs water
A few burned out greens need repair. Rough was brown dead grass. Fairways were decent. outside of the few bad greens, it was a good value for the price.

First time and last time
First time playing this course and will also be my last time. Overall course is in poor shape. Tee boxes are in bad shape, fairways and rough are burnt up from lack of watering. Greens were the only thing that was watered. Don’t bother. I can think of half a dozen other courses that are only a couple of bucks more that are in better shape than this one.

Great value if you want ro venture a little north of the Detroit area. A hidden gem for sure.
Great day on the course
Always enjoy my round of golf here. Plays great for the average golfers but don't get me wrong, low scorers have a challenge as well. Course is very well maintained and the staff there treat everyone well. I'm definitely going back.
Very fun course
Great course for just about everyone! The front 9 is very open layout, giving every level of golfer a Good opportunity to do well. Transitioning to the back 9, allows for more challenging holes with more OB areas. The course condition was very decent considering the very hot weather lately, which definitely affected the green speed. All in all, don’t think twice about playing this course, you won’t be disappointed!
Plays how you would think
Nice country course but no beer cart and the driving range has been out of service the last 3-4 times I’ve been there. Greens are pretty fast but surprisingly sticky. Usually open but today’s was over booked and pace of play became a struggle. Overall would suggest for a fun round with the boys
