Myth Golf & Banquet - Regulation Course

About
The Myth Golf & Banquet, formerly known as Beaver Creek, tumbles across rolling hills. Situated next to Lake Orion, the golf course sits on protected land that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including sandhill cranes. There is both an 18-hole championship course and a nine-hole par-3 course. In 2007, when the Myth was established, several improvements were made to the championship layout, improving its conditions and making it more challenging. The scenic golf course features boardwalk cart paths that cut through beautiful pine forests. Don't get too distracted by the scenery though because there is plenty to keep you busy including multi-tiered greens and water hazards on almost every hole. The 13th is the golf course's signature hole. This par 3 plays from an elevated tee over water to a generous green, offering a great opportunity for a birdie.

Not even worth $20.
$47? For that? No way. The bridges are horrible. The tee boxes haven’t been cut in 5 years. The carts are junk.
Great practice course
The course is great for new golfers. You are able to get great practice with your irons and putts. Highly recommend for new golfers

Stuff was extremely friendly. Course is in terrible condition. Pace of play is great. Enjoyed my self clearly past its prime.

The par 3
When we have 90 mins... We always just say we have time for the range.... This place is situational shooting for 18 holes... Want to work a club over 200 yds... You forgot to pick up your tour card... Get out your range finder and get mad at your irons.. greens could use more love...

Idk what the negative reviews are all about..
People pay like 45 bucks and expect pga level course or something? Snobs. I've been here twice now and both times were amazing. Once early and first tee time, conditions were amazing. Second time was behind 3 groups, all of who let me play through, so no worries there. Challenging holes, amazing and creative layout. Favorite course within driving distance from Warren so I'm all set. Other people complaining about the bridge being rickety... Yeah. It's a wooden bridge over a marsh. What's the problem? Your voice sounded like Roy Orbison for a minute? Oh boy. Call the press. As for rate of play, it's golf, not NASCAR. Enjoy it, don't speed through. Yeesh! You're the ones destroying the game, not the people who are just out here playing it.

Hunk of Junk
Terrible course. Not maintained, dandelions everywhere, life-threatening bridges, old gas carts.....
Use every club on the bag off the tee
Very interesting layout, where knowing the course will be very helpful. Greens were excellent and tricky with the undulations. Tee boxes left a lot to be desired. Condition of rest of the course was excellent. The bridges are scary and in dis-repair.
Pretty good
Fun course, interesting layout. Worst parts about it were the bridges and cart paths. Greens were tough and in pretty good condition for the most part. Not a long course - driver isn’t necessary for many of the holes. Overall it was a nice round.
Great place to work on your irons
This is a great place for beginners to get a little challenge. A great place for practice with irons without getting bored.
Rough Shape
This course is in rough shape. I understand that it’s early in the season, I’ll give them that. However, I’m referring to the overall condition of this place in general. The bridges are falling apart, the cart parts are a joke, there is garbage all over the course (beer cans, plastic bags, etc...) This can’t be from this season, there was just way too much of it. This was from last year. You would think they would have cleaned up the garbage from last year...last year!? It was warm until December. We go here because it’s close to home and it’s affordable. I was told they have a new manager, let’s hope they put the $ into this course and bring it back from mediocrity.

Fantastic course. Paths Falling apart and trash everywhere
When you play this course you'll spend most of your traveling time between holes on wooden raised cart paths. These are falling apart and need to be completely redone. Had a board break while driving and almost fell through. Also the woods is just filled with cans and bottles everywhere. It's absolutely disgusting. Take some time and pick that stuff up or host a day to go out and get trash for free rounds. No excuses for the tee box's to look like the palace trash dump.
This course is absolutely a blast to play, but the company in charge needs to put some time into it or they'll find themselves trying to sell it next year.

First round of year, frost delay not their fault but open first tee an waiting for carts? Probably was because of slow players and no enforcement of pace., ball hawkers etc. Tight course but play it when not busy.

Junk show
Tee times were an hour behind and pace of play was 8 HOURS. Loved this place the first time I went but wasn’t even able to play yesterday after a two hour commute. Super disappointed. I would call to book and ask for update on tee times, then expect to add 40 min to what they say.
