Great course for the money
Went here a month ago to play 9 with a buddy of mine. It rained like crazy the day before. We arrived and were told about the water on the course (expected) and it was walking only. Had a great time and the course was much better and fun than I expected. I got what I expected for the price. The guys in the club house were friendly and the hot dogs were huge! Overall, for being a what I'd call a regular no frills course I enjoyed it. Came back in late September and played 18 with a cart. Cost $35. Got to see the back half of the course and while the course is on the short side, I enjoyed all 18.
Enjoyable Golf
Except for a foursome on the back nine that were playing best ball very slowly, it was a great round. We just skipped in front of them and sailed around the rest of the holes. We played the whole 18 in 3 hours.
Fun little course
I played this course for the first time today. I was paired with three other very nice young men. We finished 18 in a little over four hours. Pace of play was very good considering that it was a very busy golf course. I had been on the fence about playing this course as I have been reading the reviews but recently I read some reviews that were favorable. I am very happy that I finally made a decision to play this course. It was a lot of fun and I look forward to coming back again. The only suggestion I would make is a beer cart person. Other than that, I don’t have any complaints.
Good ole Chandler
Nice fun course. Greens rolling. Could do better job with weeds in bunkers and other places. Fun course in good location
Diamond in the "rough"
Despite being warned off of Detroit Munis, we decided to make a tee time for 244... at booking I was told that twilight is only able to get 9 Holes, and that was fine. Greeted by a very friendly lady, paid and proceeded out to the starter, getting there, we see a gathering of golfers waiting to tee off, thinking oh, crap, but then the starter "James" says "let's get your cart and get you out". It was awesome! We played 9 in 1 hour 15 minutes, and played really good, too, well by our standards-I shot 38 and she shot 41. Fairways were generous, Some hidden water, greens are TINY, but true. Sand is poor (so don't go in it). The only downfall, when I went to log my score into GHIN system, the rating was 3 strokes less than my home Club, hence why I shot 38.
We were going to get hotdogs and beer, but did not. Next time.
The waiting game.
Staff was great, course was in decent shape, solid course for the money. That being said, they need to stop booking twosomes… had a 10:52 tee time, by hole 13 it was 3:30…this is a significant problem. Also, there was a big bee issue while we played, and I got stung by one lol. If I knew they cleaned up pace of play, I’d recommend..
Watch your step.
The course was okay. The major issue was the high number if geese on the course and goose droppings were everywhere. Take some sanitary wipes with you if you plan on playing Chandler.
Don’t judge a book by its cover!
Wasn’t expecting much but I have to say
Place was clean the coarse was fun the staff was friendly and I will definitely be back for another round!

They only had paper copies of them minus the layout. Can't wait to play here again.
Twice in one week
We played here for the second time in a week and were not disappointed. It is a better course than many we have played in Macomb county. Just a few pot holes and some of the cart paths need repair.
A Real Metamorphoses
This course is truly a different course from what it was last time I played there (20 years ago). It has been brought back to life and is in very good condition. I will definitely play there again soon.
Solid Detroit Muni
Glad this course is still available for play as many of the Detroit munis are going away! Course conditions were not bad and were not great, rather they are what I would expect from munis.
Surprisingly course had several unique / fun holes and the back 9 greens had more character than the front.
