Chandler Park Golf Course

The course is in the best shape it's been since a tornado destroyed hundreds of old trees at Chandler Park about 20 years ago. The greens are healthy, the bunkers are in good shape, and the course is draining very well. The course stays busy, and can be bit slow. I recommend the greenskeepers mow the rough down to improve the pace of play. I lost 3 balls that trickled in the rough and disappeared. The greens are small - you'll need to chip and putt to score well...Back 9 is more challenging and enjoyable than the front. If you haven't played Chandler this year, you should give it a try.

Solid course, very straight. Good for beginners since it’s fairly wide open . Course is pretty tore up on a few fairways but it’s been raining a lot lately. Will be back for Golfnow price.

I’ve grown up with this course. Great to see all the nice improvements they’ve made the last year. Friendly place.

I love this course! It’s close to home, the staff is very kind and for the money you can’t beat it.

This is the second time my brother and myself have played chandler park this year and the course is in very nice shape with all the rain we have had this year. The gentleman who runs the pro shop was great and the staff was very friendly.

Our pace of play was great the first time we played, but the second time it was slow on the back nine. But the course is in great shape and a bargain for weekday golf. You have to try the hot dogs at the turn, I don’t know where they get them from, but they are tasty. We are looking forward to playing there again in the near future.

The front 9 needs work in the fairways but the staffing is very friendly and so is the course.

I've driven by this course my whole life on I-94. I have always written this place off because it's in the city. My mistake. The neighborhood around it isn't that great, but the course is! If you're not scared of the city, play this course! Staff is friendly. Parking is monitored. I've already played it twice and plan on playing it more!

I play this course often due to its low price and fair difficulty. Great conditions (mostly) and a good staff. Highly recommend

There were no rangers out to monitor the speed of play. We got stuck behind an EXTREMELY slow foursome on #13 and it took just shy of 2 and a half hours to complete the last 6 holes.

The back nine has issues. It would be OK to walk, but with a cart, you better drive very slowly or you and your clubs could be ejected from your cart.

They have made several improvements and are still working on the course. It is a nice course with great staff. The green were in nice shape. Not sure what they can do to smooth out the bumps, but I am hopeful they will attempt to do something.

Also, a ranger would be helpful to monitor speed of play. It shouldn't take more than 10 minutes, 15 tops, to complete a hole, even with a foursome.

I have played here many times over the years and the last time I was there a couple years ago it was in very bad shape because of Vargo golf. This new company that is taking over the golf course has done an excellent job at repairing the damage that was done by the previous management company greens were in great shape staff was friendly place was clean trees were cut down I should say bushes were cut down look great good value for the money

Course is extremely wet. But otherwise was in decent shape.

No carts on the front but it was pretty cool. Was able to start on the back 9 with a cart but standing water was everywhere. Still shot a decent round. Great improvements with the new management team.
