Sylvan Glen Municipal Golf Course

Course was great. Lot of long par 4s but never unfair.

We paid for 18 holes and a tee time of 12:45pm. The bar was out of a lot of canned alcohol and we waited for a while to tee off on the first hole. We had to wait on every single hole on the first nine it was past 3:30pm when we finished. We then were going to go inside quickly and get some bottled water and use the restroom. My playing partner was then told that we couldn’t play the other 9 because league play was about to begin but yet we had paid for 18 and kept up with the pace of play as much as we could due to slower players constantly being in front of us. We then were told to hurry up and tee off for the back 9. We also had to wait on every single tee box the rest of the time. At one point we waited 10 minutes to tee off on a hole. We did not finsh 18 holes until 5:30pm. The course was very nice and fun to play but the pace of play was awful and the organization was very poor. Definitely want to try this course again on a less busy day in hopes of faster pace of play and more organization.

This was my 2nd time playing the course and I enjoyed it just as much as my 1st time. With a 7:24 start time we just beat a league onto the course which helped with pace of play. A real Gem

Shot my career low (77), even though my driver was off almost all day. Not a whole lot of trouble on this course. Really enjoyed the round, the course was in beautiful condition. Would love to play here again.

We had a 7:40 tee time and they made us walk cuz the water on the course from rain but people with 9am tee time were allowed to use carts. The course did not dry up that significantly in one hour for them to make that decision

1st time playing and wont be the last. A real gem of a course. Excellent conditions and pace of play. Love all the old trees you needed to play around that only comes with a course that 100 years old. Outstanding.

As the title states. She had never been on a golf course and I talked her into tagging along. Course was beautiful, no issues with pace and the ride along fee was just $5. She now says she wants to be all time cart driver and caddy. Only issue, and it wasn’t much of one because it didn’t effect anything, was there were a ton of old broken tees on the tee boxes.

Course was fun, deff some tough greens for a newbie like me. Not the greatest course but not bad either. It was a lot of fun and I would recommend
