About
Brentwood Golf & Banquet Center in White Lake is conveniently less than an hour from downtown Detroit. The 18-hole layout has two distinctly different designs. The front nine is a wooded trail design with homes lining the fairways while the back nine has a more open, classic Scottish-links layout with fewer trees. There are nearly 40 bunkers situated along the greens and fairways and a variety of marshes, wetlands, and ponds come into play on 13 holes. To make the golf course even more challenging, the strategically placed mounding provides a number of tricky uneven lies from all angles and on nearly every hole. Brentwood's par-5 16th is a particularly memorable hole, featuring a grass hill that is directly in front of the green, almost completely blocking the view of the putting surface on the approach.

Fun track
Good challenging layout. Club selection and distance control are key. Undulations on the greens make putts.
Beautiful Course!
Course layout and conditions were great! My son was visiting from Louisville Ky and had his first hole in one on the par 3, 17th hole! I will definitely be back!!

Brentwood
Two totally different nines. The front is total target golf and you should keep your driver in the bag the entire 9. The front features two of the worst-designed par 5’s I’ve seen as you’re forced to lay up on your first and second shots. You shouldn’t ever have to keep driver in the bag on a par 5. The back nine is a completely different course from the front, wide open and considerably longer. Pace of play was fantastic, finished in under 4 hours on a Sunday afternoon.

The long par 5 on the back 9 was a spectacular hole. The water on the course was pretty dirty and ugly
Nice course
This course is quite well taken care of but - wow!- the greens are like lightening!!! Putters beware - slow that club down!!!
Nice Course Great Greens
First time golfing this golf course. I was pleasantly surprised. Overall the course was in good shape especially the greens. They were pretty quick. Probably 10 on the stimp. First nine is tree lined and the second nine is wide open after Hole 11. Overall a fun day.
