great course, BRING YOUR OWN BEVERAGES

Great course that is challenging and fun. The golf pro in the shop was not friendly. I found the most annoying aspect of the course was the lack of WATER stations and a relatively absent beverage cart. I don't mind a course that doesn't have water, but at least post that information. What's more, there was a large sign stating "No outside beverages." By the end of my round I was very dehydrated, almost dangerously so. Ignore the sign and make sure to bring your own beverages.

The Highland's are beautiful!

I would say that aside from playing at a great course, it is also equally beautiful. The bluffs alone are scenic, but then you also have to consider, the holes themselves. The only downfall that I would say is that, the drink cart wasn't out enough and the play was slow. Other than that it is an awesome course.

Great Bargain

Drove down from St. Paul. The course was in great condition and the bar staff was outstanding when we stopped in for lunch between the front and back. The course is very scenic, and was a refreshing change from the city courses in the metro. 18 holes for $32 was worth the 45 minute drive.

Very Challenging

My Wife and I golfed this Course. Not a course for the beginner or someone that sprays the ball around. Lots of elevation changes. Beautiful Views of the river and countryside. Do not try to walk it unless you're half mountain goat. Being a flatlander it was tough to adjust to the greens.

Lowlands renamed, reclaimed

warhorse original 18 (now called Tournament Course) finally getting some TLC w/ new forward tees & trees cut back to open up some chutes from the tips...layout uses the rolling terrain well & there is good separation from other holes...opening 3 holes can play tough (& slow) but then the pace picks up & rounds can finish easily under 4 hrs
