Sun Valley is in great condition. Fairways are good and the greens are plush. Beautiful views with trees and water on several holes. Keep 'em straight or this course will give you all you can handle.
Great course
Only complaint I have are the tee boxes. Some were extremely hard to get a tee in, especially number 6.
Other than that it was a great time
Beautiful Course
The views for this course alone are worth it. It can be a very busy course on the weekends during the summer, but overall, it is well maintained and the staff are very friendly. Highly suggest checkin this course out during the week, when it is slower, and you’ll understand why so many people come out on the weekends.
Greens and Tee Boxes
For the good, the greens are in nice shape. They hold a shot, no major blemishes, and have good pace.
For the bad, the tee boxes are in poor shape. Very hard , uneven, and some holes they almost seem an afterthought.
Awful
Took over 5 hrs to play only 16 holes. Not one group offereed our two some to play through. No marshall on the course to keep pace adhered to. Staff was rude as can be. Was surprised on hole 17 by the Marshall yelling at us to head back at 730pm and insisted he told us prior to the start of the round, which never happened. Will never be coming back.
By far Slowest round I’ve ever played
Took 5 hours to play 16 holes before getting kicked out before we finished was not warned at all about the 7:30 cut off time. . Called on hole 5 because there was 6 groups on the beast, was told it’s just a super busy day. First if you’d think if it was that busy you’d have a Marshall out of the course to keep up with the pace of play. Pace of play was terrible. Did more waiting today than actual golfing. I understand it’s a public course of the weekend but spread the tee times out so people can enjoy there round, instead of waiting all day to hit or having groups up your butt all day . Just remember your golf course is only successful because of happy golfers! The views can only get you so far.

Best Greens in Area
This course is a tough course with a lot of elevation change. The par 6 is a neat addition. The pace of play was awful, I think they booked too many tee times around the same time. The greens were probably some of the best in the area and really well taken care of.
