so slow
There were a zillion beginners, with no etiquette to pace of play. Now I get it, it's a city course on a sunday afternoon. My biggest complaint is that there was no one from the course that was driving around to keep up pace of play. We quit after 5:10 hours on the course and we had finished 13 holes. So, it's not for me, but I guess, maybe I play too fast.
Course was fine, pretty easy layout, and greens were in okay shape. not fast, not slow.
Fun Course
Played with my son when he came into town. We were able to play 18 holes in four hours and 10 minutes, which I considered to be really good for a public golf course. The course is fun to play & it’s in really good shape..
I will play here again, when I have more time.
Nice mature golf course. I will play here again, but early or twilight. iIt’s a great course with forgiving fairways and some slippery greens, just like I like it. Very busy place with constantly active 1st tee. Pace of play was as expected, but still quite slow. We waited on 75% of tee shots and 2nd shots on our day. No rangers out on the course, but that is typical. $20 for a 6 pack of beer, so the waiting around was fine.
No refund
Unfortunately i did not play this course. I mistakenly reserved the time without realizing as i was looking at several courses. When i realized an hour before the tee time, i called the course and they indicated they could not credit back my fee. So it doesnt really make sense to use this app. I will just go old school and call in the future.
Slow play, closed early.
Golf now advertised a walking rate without pointing out that a cart was not included. Had to pay $15 more for a cart. Took almost three hours to play the front nine. Rained for 30 minutes but was clear for the rest of the night. Volunteers wanted to get home so closed the course. I was on 12 when approached by the ranger saying it was closed. No mention of a rain check. Left the cart in the parking lot. Won’t play there again.
