Teeter to a Sweeter Course
I can't say I've ever played a course in worse condition than TR a few weeks back...
Even if it were in good condition the course layout is downright awful. There are several doglegs nearing 90 degrees or more. The tee boxes hadn't been maintained, and were basically the equivalent of most courses' rough.
Less a lone course marshal who we had a nice chat with, the clubhouse staff seemed annoyed that the four of us wanted to order some food and beverage at the turn.
There are better courses if you're balling on a budget. I'm not sure if Russian bots have taken over reviews on GolfNow or what, but the course's rating shouldn't be as high as it is.
Fast, great price and challenging!!
I played 9 holes to work on my swing, play fast and play for cheap - this place delivered! While the conditions were a bit below average, it cost $15 for 9 holes and a cart and I played in 1 hour and 10 minutes. Challenging holes, lots of dog legs and was the perfect midday round.
Good value
Nice course, some issues with greens but understand considering our lack of rain. No waiting!
Staff is really the only downside for the price
I have golfed here several times. Every time we go in the morning the guy that works the desk early is intentionally a jerk. Goes above and beyond making visitors feel unwelcome...great business plan. Then this last time, on a par five they had the cart exit signs about 150 yds from the green, so of course I missed them. A mower personnel proceeded to yell at me 3 times, even though I apologetically told him I just didn’t see the signs - the signs that were 150 yds from the green. I take pride in trying to respect courses and etiquette of the game. Regardless the price.
May be done with this place. Not worth being treated this way to save $10 compared to other local public courses.
The course is unique.
Rural feel. It’s located kind of in the boondocks. Has lots of vegetation and shade which was really nice because it was very hot outside. Lots of dog legs and blind shots made it fun and challenging.
Not bad
I've been playing that course for 30 years, they really are trying to compete and give you a few longer holes, played by myself and enjoyed it, oh the best thing,THIRTEEN, yes 13 dollars to ride 18 holes, unbelievable!!!!!!!!!
Nice little course
I really liked this course. It is very short but tricky. The pace of play was very good. The greens were pretty slow but overalll the condition of the course is good. High value course, I will play it again.
No sand traps
I love the layout! However, I found two (2) things to be disappointing...no sand traps & too many par three’s on the back nine!!
VERY VERY NICE LITTLE COURSE
AWESOME LITTLE COURSE FOR POLISING YOUR IRON PLAY! AND TO THE LOSERS WHINNING ABOUT OH BOO HOO I LOST MY BALLS IN THE ROUGH, WELL THATS WHY ITS CALLED THE R!O!!U!G!H! WHINNING NOT ALLOWED HERE!!!
inexpensive easy course
back nine went faster than front. back nine mostly in better condition than front. not a course to challenge you. but an easy way to break in the golf season.
Rough was ROUGH
Teetering is a fun little executive course with a couple of challenging holes along the way. They need to mow the rough area, especially around the greens. Our group lost a number of balls, (unnecessarily) because of lack of maintenance around the greens. The course lacked adequate drinking water, toilet facilities as well as ball washing equipment. Let's get with it, guys, this is the middle of May! The clubhouse staff was friendly, the weather just about perfect and pace of play enjoyable on the positive side.
Course has several blind shots, so it is helpful to have a playing partner go ahead on those holes to serve as lookout.
Great day of golf
This course is always fun to play. You have a few driver holes, most of your shots are made with irons. Good course to fine tune the iron skills. Greens were in great shape. Nice little course, well managed.
Tight play
Have to make sure you hit it straight or you going to lose a lot of balls.
A quick and fun round for only $20
This course is hidden in a older neighborhood, but it has lots of fun features. We finished 18 holes in 3 hours and the course was in great shape except for the recently aerated greens which were a little bumpy, but not bad. I played for $20 with a cart so it was a great round at a great price. Looking forward to going back soon.
Fun Course
Teetering Rocks is a very nice Executive length course. It has several unique hole layouts. It is in great condition and the greens are nice. Enjoyed playing there. Hadn't been in a while. I'll be back!
