Skill building course
I am a beginning golfer and I’m looking to build my skills. I don’t have many courses to compare this too but I had a fun experience at Teetering Rocks
Needs A LOT of work
The course is rough. I made my way out there due to a recent review from someone stating it was in good condition and I hadn’t been out there this year yet.
I would t waste your time. The greens are in decent shape, everything else is in poor condition. Some holes much worse than others. Fairways are primarily dirt and weeds with large cracks in the soil as if they’re relying solely on the weather to irrigate the course.
On the positive side, if you’re ok hitting off of dirt or a tee, it’s a place to work on your short game as the course is short.
Dry & Ruff Conditions
The front 9 weren’t to bad. The back 9 was super dry and dusty. There’s some cool holes and layout of the course is nice. It would be a lot better if taken care of.
Very disappointed in the condition of the course. We couldn’t find our balls in the fairways due to poor upkeep.
Greens were really nice and the beer was cold.
My new go to course
I've been playing more consistent this year and for the money Teetering Rock is great for newer golfers and difficulty for more experience. Great staff very helpful. Must play wish they had a driving range but with multiple par 3s if you can find a groove early you will get low scores
Fun but challenging! Recommend for all skill types
Wonderful course, staff, and experience. Greens were in great shape, fairways too in most places. Tee boxes needed a little work. The hills and treelined fairways coupled with "tunnels" through the woods to the next hole were captivating at times. A short-cut taker's delight!
I might have made the first proposal ever on #3's heart-shaped green. She said "Yes!" AND I par'd it. Win win!
David in the clubhouse was most kind and even tracked us down on the back nine to offer us a congratulations and engagement gift!
No Fairways
This course has some terrible fairways and solid greens
Gol Cart
Two times in a row I had cart problems. The first time I had to play holes 4, 5 and 6 in reverse before receiving a new cart. Luckily this past visit, I was greeted with a charged cart at hole six before it became an issue.
