Over 5 hours for 18
It took over 5 hours to play today. This course frequently overbooks, so don’t make plans for after the round.
It was cart path only and super sloppy. Fairways were in good condition but the rough had not been cut in a while. Greens were recently aerated and very sandy.
The weather was great which made the day enjoyable.

Great First Outing
Course was great, pace was great, overall a very nice course through the suburbs of Wentzville. Some of the holes had some landscaping improvements being done on them, but maybe 2 or so holes. Overall, fun and relaxing course. Challenges would be that the course backs up to a lot of houses with a few narrow fairways.

Stuck behind a tournamanet
About 10 minutes before our tee time they released at least 40 carts in front of us for a tournament. After 2.5 hours we were on the 5th hole so we gave up. What are these people thinking, or is it just greed?
Thank you so much for your feedback. We closed the #1 tee down for 1.5 hours before their tee time to tee a 44 player tournament out on holes #1-#6. We then started to open tee times 24 minutes after that. We apologize for the flow pace of play at your start. We hope to see you back real soon.

Home Course
I consider Bear Creek my home course and something that can be viewed as a quality example for a course. The grounds crew is always on top of things and I haven’t experienced any issues with the course in two years. I’ve got about 15 rounds here & it provides a good lot of challenge from the advanced tees requiring you not to be wild with the long stick.
Beware of the Par 3 on the front (#7) I believe as it is ALWAYS into a stiff wind!
Much better
This course has always had an amazing clubhouse with full bar and restaurant (great food). The prices are also great. The course has a challenging layout winding through the sub division without the homes really being in play.
Recently BC has put a lot of work into their sand traps. There are a couple that need to be reworked as of yet, but this course has moved up the charts with the work that has been done.
With the amount of traffic that this course sees, I think they are doing a fantastic job.

Course in good shape
Staff was friendly and the course is in good shape.
Area needs rain. Fairways and greens were dry.

Clubhouse staff rude
The older man that runs the clubhouse seems to always be in an unfriendly and grumpy mood. No common courteous whatsoever. He clearly does not like strangers. I don’t blame him but let’s not put him in the customer facing role. Unless ticking off customers is par for the course.

Pace of play deal breaker
Course was in good shape would play there more if the pace of play wasn't so slow.

We appreciate your feedback,we had Monday, Wednesday and Thursday last week. The course was too wet to get the ruff mowers out. We were able to get the greens and tees cut late Friday afternoon once things dried up. We've been on the cart path all week so we are excited for the upcoming dry week. We will have the ruff cut by Tuesday and the greens will be completely heeled over from the aerification in a week. Thanks again for your feedback, we hope to see you back real soon.
