Up grading course
Far the most part the course was nice, but they are up grading a lot of the sand bunkers and just general maintenance. Especially after a storm that went through a few days ago.
I would play this course again and recommend it to others. It's still a nice place to play.
returning to an old friend
Have played here often over the years, a good challenge sometimes tarnished in the past by iffy conditions. This year conditions are superb. Only small issue was tee blocks could stand to be mowed. A very small concern.

6 hours pace of play. Starter was completly useless as he is tryign to rush us to wait in the fairway. Marshalls we saw twice, said to tell groups ahead of us to speed up pace, but they never did. Only time we saw the cart girl on 1 fairway and 17 green. Not a good way to try and "get our extra Food & Beverage" dollars. 17 is a joke with the highway next to the fairway. Cars zipping by constantly. One car stopped, made a U-Turn, got out of his car, grabbed one of our balls in the fairway, got back in his car, and left.
Wont' come back to Bear Creek.

Very wet, little rough around the edges (standing water, bunkers were in terrible shape). Greens were great and fairways in good shape. All in all I had a great time.

Course try’s to put too many people on
They try to cram as many people as close as possible onto the course. Maybe the course is attempting to makes ends meet by getting as much money as possible but this makes for a very undesirable course pace. I’d rather pay a little more and have more space in front of and behind me.

Always slow
Probably the slowest course I play. Consistently slow. Took over 3hrs for 9 holes late on a Sunday. I guess they just always over book the course.
Course was in good shape, greens were in very good shape.
The price is decent compared to other courses in the area. Just be prepared to wait, a lot.

Well maintained, poorly managed
Always plays slow, they stack their tee times every 8 minutes, plays over 5 hours most of the time.

Pace of play
Need a marshal to urge pace of play for the groups that don’t understand ready golf. Second time playing this cours this year and have been behind players that had no idea how to keep up with group play n front. Players were playing from blue tees with drives not reaching 200 yards or were out of bounds. Backed up the tee box with two other groups last 9 holes. Close to 6 hour round. Not sure if the course even cares. Will not play your course again this year and will spread our experience.

Good course Good price
It was a bit hot, but not horrible. The course was in descent condition. It had been raining days prior so the fairways were a bit wet in some areas (mainly fairways). Started off a little slow with a single jumping in front of our group, but the pace picked up after a few holes. Back nine was a lot slower with a group of four inexperienced players, but they at least played from the forward tees. My son and I got a cheese burger at the turn and it was pretty good. Staff was friendly and courteous. Over all, a wonderful day out with my son and friends.

Great course - alittle packed.
Great course in Wentzville. Friendly staff. We had a 5 man group ahead of us and it was a bit congested. We usually had 2 groups stacked behind us while we waited to tee off on each hole.
