Too many golfers out there on the weekend to enjoy a round. Slow play because of number of golfers playing on weekends.
Love playing here but management needs to limit the number of golfers on the weekend instead of packing the course for the bucks being made. If course was less expensive on weekend and packed then I would understand.

Took 5 and a half hours
It took us 5 and a half hours and we didn’t even play holes 17 or 18. There was a group of 6 in front of us playing multiple balls the whole day. The pace of play was the slowest I’ve ever seen. If you want to play this course be prepared to spend over 5 hours on a round of golf.

Tee times were too close together, we quit after 9 holes. It took 3 hours and 34 minutes to complete. Many holes we waited 20 minutes between each shot

Bear Creek
Course is in great shape and a must play. Need to have a Marshall drive around on the weekdays. There was a fivesome that slowed down the pace of play for everyone.

Thank you for your review. We have been working towards getting a marshal on the weekdays. If you ever notice a five some please call the pro shop and we will send someone to break it up. We hope to see you again soon!
Pace of play needs to be monitored
Its not enjoyable playing 9 holes that took 3 hours and 15 minutes. I have played a ton of rounds here and when you finish getting a credit for the other nine, and no one is on hole 16-18, that is an issue needing to be fixed by staff. I'm very disappointed.

Excellent Course, Awesome Value
I drove 50 minutes to play this course for the first time on my day off. Just wanted to try something different and got a Golf Now "Hot Deal". This course exceeded ALL expectations. Greens were in perfect shape, not a blemish other than a few unfixed divots. The gentlemen at the pro shop was super friendly and gave me a course guide to help navigate the hazards. Tee boxes were perfectly trimmed and fairways were in excellent shape. I would drive 50 minutes each week to play this course, time permitting. If you live in St. Louis metro you have to play this course. 10/10 from me. (I shot a +22 but it had nothing to do with the course).

Horrible pace of play.
Course was nice, staff was friendly but pace of play was horrible. They squeeze too many tee times together for a weekend. We got a rain check for the back nine holes. It took 3 hours to play 8 holes.

Pace of play today was outstanding
Pace of play today was outstanding, the course was in good shape and the staff was friendly, The whole round and course could have been outstanding but wasn't because the bunkers need sand in them. This would make it a great course!
