Pilgrim's Run Golf Club

Was having major surgery in just a few days and I wanted to play one of my favorites before going under the knife. I have played almost 180 courses in Michigan alone and Pilgrims Run is easily in my top 5 favorites. Well maintained, great routing, friendly great Pro, and in a beautiful setting !! really enjoyed myself and can't wait until spring when I return. Thanks Pilgrim's Run!!

This course was a beautiful design and the place of play was fine. Played in the afternoon, so time was of the essence for completing 18 holes.

We each (3 golfers) paid for our rounds with carts and each took a cart to play. On the 10th tee, an employee approached to tell us that we were not allowed to have 3 carts and would have to give up cart for the remainder of the round. I asked we this was and got a lame excuse that it was "policy" and was told "you should have booked an earlier tee time if you were worried about completing 10 holes." After that the same employee decided to drive by us several times while members of my party were swinging, creating enough distraction that I won't be playing here again.

Just loved playing Pilgrim's Run on a beautiful day. Course was packed with golfers so it played very slowly. Greens were excellent but tee boxes were just plugged. Great course with great friends.

Pilgrim’s Run is a quiet, beautiful course with wild life, great course conditions and awesome staff! It’s our favorite!

I live in Florida so coming up to MI to play Pilgrim's Run is a special experience. The course is in amazing shape--so lush and green.

I love the layout and the staff are professional and friendly. You MUST play this course if you have the chance.

This course is fantastic. A wide variety among the holes in terms of difficulty, elevation, and length. You can also get a tee time at a reasonable time. The only problem is that 18 holes on the weekend can run you 5+ hours and that occurs at too many courses in Michigan because people don’t follow pace of play and the rangers aren’t riding around to enforce it. Players spend too much time looking for their balls, very few play ready golf, and everyone watches everyone’s putting routine, stroke, and result (most often a miss) before even looking at their own putts. It’s incredibly frustrating that a round should take that long when it is preventable.

Great course to play. Stumbled across it once and decided I needed to play it. I was not disappointed.

Excellent conditions just to hot. This one of western Michigan's best. The greens are tough and undulating. The course is manicured and service is super friendly. We will always try to play it when we are on that side of the state.

Great staff, great course, feels like Northern Michigan but is only a 30 minute drive from downtown Grand Rapids.

This place is PARADISE for ALL levels of golfer. The tips will beat you up but the whites and blues are fair.

Great course, clubhouse and staff. They could stand to upgrade their range balls though. The facility sits on a lot of sand and the balls hold that in the morning and even in the afternoon.

I have played this course about 5 times, and enjoy it more each time. The value you get for your money is amazing. This course is always in AMAZING shape. The fairways immaculate, the greens are firm and fast, and the rough is well maintained. There is a great variety of holes from easy to challenging. Please add this to your list of courses to play in the area.

Arrived at 9:15 for 10:00 am tee time. Went to driving range to hit balls. 9:35. Starter came up as we were getting out of cart to tell us we were on tee. Rushed us to pair up with another twosome. Didnt let us hit balls to warm up. The two we played with were great. They also were rushed ahead. Totally messed us up. The starter was really rude and not friendly. Get rid of him. Just a ornery old man who acted like he didn’t want to be there. I wont pay $75 to play there ever again. Bad experience.
