Great tough course. Pace was decent for a Saturday morning. Will be back.

Great course, but felt rushed through the back nine as a bunch of groups showed up around the same time and decided started off or only play the back nine??? It was 1230 when we arrived at the back 9 and on a week day. Not sure if they over book or just a bunch of new groups of golfers just showed up to play the back 9, but was rushed through the back 9, didn't enjoy it and ruined the experience. Maybe better luck next time?!

Since the new owners took over a couple years ago the course has continually became better year after year. They put a lot of time effort and money into making this course great again. Greens roll true, grass is in Fantastic shape and the layout is second to none in the area, pace of play was great as well, plenty of food options in the clubhouse. Grass driving range also in great shape. The newer electric carts are a huge upgrade from the old gas powered ones. The only negatives I would say is the sand traps could use some work, which they have started doing. Also the short game area is lacking but they do have a chipping area and large putting green.

This is a players course, it will challenge your game. Make sure you play the correct tee boxes.

Not a house on the course it’s wooded with trees and some water, water definitely not overwhelming but it does come into play on certain holes, it’s not a back and fourth muni course either the course plays around a large wooded area with as much elevation changes as you can find anywhere in Macomb county.

I would recommend this course to anyone on the east side and anywhere in Detroit it’s worth the drive, bring your A game this isn’t St. Clair Shores country club.

This course is a nice little gem. It's worth the price of the green fees. It's a course that should be on your list to play. Lucky for me its not too far from home.

Played 18 today. You can tell a-lot of work has been put into making this course one you would want to play again and again. Great course with a good variety of challenges. Looking forward to playing there again.

My husband and I played a round of 18. We found the course to have a beautiful layout. It has that "up North feel" with uneven lays and elevated tee boxes and beautiful views on some holes. We will definitely go again. I was pleasantly surprised at how plush most of the fairways were. The greens rolled at a fair speed. I always wish there were a way to get public players to clean up their divots but theres not much they can do about that.

Great day to spend time at one of the best golf courses in the area.

The course is in great condition. Challenging, but fair with true fairways and greens. The layout requires some accurate shot making from the tee, but shots from the fairway are relatively straight forward.

NEVER GOT CHANCE TO PLAY!

Each time i’ve scheduled tee times in advance thru Golfnow, took time off of work, made arrangements with my golf partners (and wife) the course management has canceled my tee times hours before we were scheduled to start my round.

I then have to call Golfnow customer service and wait 3 to 5 days to get my refund and then try to find another location to golf without wasting my vacation time & while spending my personal time scheduling and rescheduling everybody’s calendar with a completely different golf course and tee time

Beware: mgmt wont accept Golfnow reservations!!!
