Absolutely gorgeous
One of my favorite courses! Well kept, great fairways and greens! Aside from a few bumpy cart paths overall 10/10!!
Run to Rattle Run
The course was in very good shape. It did have some spots where there may have been some turf damage but overall it was very good. The layout is challenging but fair as it makes you think about tee shots, it's not just driver off of every hole. I used driver, 3 wood, 3 iron so it was fun to think about where I wanted to land the ball instead of just firing away. Certain holes you HAVE to be left or right to have a shot at the green. It was a very enjoyable course to play and I will be heading back soon.
Don't display times when you have leagues
Scheduled a tee time for Wednesday night the night before. Woke up on Wednesday to it canceled with no explanation. I thought I may have pressed cancel in my sleep or something. My buddy then tried to book a tee time for the same night, and his was canceled too. This is after paying. If you do not have an open tee time DO NOT DISPLAY THAT TEE TIME. This is not that difficult.
Excellent value course
This course was a bit of a drive for me but it was well worth it! The whole course was well maintained and beautiful, with a bit of elevation that I don’t get closer to home. The price was well worth the experience.
Great courses, pace a bit slow
Overall, course is in great shape. Fairways are above average and greens are in great shape and fast. Pace of play on front was great. I feel like the design of the back 9 makes it play slower.
Almost perfect
My biggest complaint is that the bunkers weren’t bunkers. They were dried hard dirt. No reason to rack after you land in one because they aren’t sand traps they are hard dirt traps. For how well the course is taken care of it is hard to believe the traps are in the conditions they are in. Only thing that I can honestly say I will remember which is sad because the course was really nice and the staff was wonderful.
