Get the ball up!!! The Cattails are right there!!!!
This was my first time here and it is a very challenging course. The cattails are everywhere. Especially Hole #8. The white tees were right up against them and I lost 4 balls in it. There were other places I hit into them. Will know better for next time.
The complex itself is nice. The parking lot needs to be resurfaced. There is no direct way to get your cart over to your car at the end of the round. Took a bit to figure out the pattern.
I didn’t get any food but saw and smelled what other people were having and the portions were almost like going to a sports bar. Pretty hearty and looked delicious.
Other than my bad play, it definitely piqued my interest to try again with a better understanding of how to manage the course.

Cattails continues to be a smart choice.
Although still maintaining a lot of features it did 20 +years ago and looking in need of repairs and renovations both on the course, parking lot, etc, it was a fun time golfing and conditions were helpful to my beat round of the year. I was surprised that it was not busy on a holiday weekend but it was nice to cruise right through 18 holes.

Great pace
Played here before and pace always kept me away. Hot afternoon may have played a part. Appearance of course has dwindled (fencing, landscaping) the course remains to be in good overall shape.
I like this course because it challenges almost every club in bag including the putter.
20 years ago I"d give this course 5"s all the time.

Keep it straight !
This is my second time playing this course and first time this year. I enjoy playing this course and you will too if you like a challenge. This is a course where club selection and accuracy is very important. The greens offer their own challenges with up and down hill putts sometimes both on the same green.

A slow Saturday afternoon
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, course was packed one tee-time after another, so the pace of play was very slow, our 250pm tee-time ended up as a 5hr 15min total time.
The front 9 was very wet after 2 nights of large rain storms, so absolutely no roll at all, the back was a little dryer. Hope it dries up.

Decent course - overpriced
The course was in decent shape for just opening this year. Some challenging and creative holes out there. A bit overpriced though for the condition of the course and having to walk without pull carts available.

Value for the money
Cattails offers a well designed course with challenging holes, especially on the back nine, that makes for a round of golf well worth your time. The conditions on the course left a lot to be desired, even for Spring play. I’ve played this course for many years now and it’s sad to see the condition of the course seemingly get worse every year.

Course is in good condition. The greens were aerated and sanding couple weeks ago and are quick.
Be aware the gas utility company is planning to do some digging around the course in the next couple of weeks.

Way too many quirky holes
Conditions of this course are well above average, and the employees are friendly, but there is just too much quirkiness to a number holes out here that would encourage me to play it again.

Lots of Cattails
this course is aptly named Cattails as you run into them on virtually every hole. that being said it is a very nice course with not a lot of obstacles. this was my first time playing the pace was great me and my buddy were able to finish in 3 and 1/2 hours for 18 holes. drove 50 minutes to get to this course and it was definitely worth the time.

Nice course for the price - $39-42
Undulating greens with some tough pin placements.
Pace of play was around 4.5 hours. But was also 2nd 18 if the day from 4 golfers who all shot around 100.
Plenty of stops were made by the cart girl but would have loved to have seen watering stations somewhere on the course
