Nice Course at a Great Price
A fun layout with lots of rolling terrain. The course is in fantastic shape. Greens are rolling true. Great value at $47. Hard to beat in NH.
Felt like a roller-coaster
The course was in decent shape but there was about half the back nine fairways were aerated during today or late yesterday. They were sanding and dragging them, so l think they aerated this am. No one mentioned that they were aerating. Never had this happen before. The course is very up and down. You were either hitting uphill with a steep sideways slant or downhill with a sideways slant . If you hit it down the middle you consistently end up in the rough. Kitchen was closed, even though it was very busy, Hope you like hotdogs...

Great value
Great layout and challenging, this course offers everything- the greens were initially slow but after we made the turn, they dried out and rolled faster. Round took about 4 hours but we were behind a slow foursome.
Knowing where not to hit helps here. Definitely worth the price.
Excellent
First time playing in 3 years and my friend and I had a wonderful time. The course is in excellent condition. The lady in the pro shop was so pleasant and helpful to my friend who rented clubs and needed gloves. I would rate this a 5 star course and so would my friend.

Excellent course...great staff....many options from scratch golfers to beginners.....this place rocks and they treat you right .....
Best in NH in my opinion
The course has had a ton of work done on it and is in Outstanding condition. Have played several other courses in the area and none even come close. I play at Lochmere every chance I get. Highly recommend it.
pace play

Perfect Conditions
I highly recommend Lochmere Golf & CC to any golfer. Excellent greens, fairways, tee boxes. It is such a beautiful course and the staff is so friendly. Pace of pace was just about 4 hours which is good considering some of the difficult holes, but fair.
Not Worth The Trip or MONEY
For a place that claims to be a championship course I was severely disappointed. Apparently having a starter and a marshal on the course are not needed even if you’re going to the “ championship course”. The group in front of us took 3.5hrs to play 9. There was no rangers on the course checking pace of play. When we made the turn at hole 9 we finally came across the ranger and the only thing he told us was to play a couple more holes because they wanted the carts in at 7. So we would of had to walk the rest if we wanted to play the 18 we paid for. Instead we tried to go to the pro shop and get some sort of refund or rain check for the nine we could not play due to the slow group in front of us, but the people at the pro shop would not help us and give us anything. I have never been more disappointed at a course especially one that claims to hold themselves to a higher standard. I would not recommend to a friend or anyone for that matter.

Horrible pace of play
Absolutely horrible pace of play. Beautiful Saturday in July and not a single ranger in sight the entire first 9 holes. So with the group in front of us playing at the absolute slowest pace you could with no one in front of them, and not letting us play through, we managed to take over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Mind you we paid for 18, a ranger finally approached the course as we turn and tells us we only have enough light to play 3 more holes. We decide to go into the pro shop and ask for a rain check for the back nine, the refuse. Absolutely terrible customer service too. Way too many better opportunities to play better golf elsewhere. Would not recommend this course. Save your money
