About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Rather Not Play
Where do I begin… from the dark dingy clubhouse to the practice range … it sucked… period. I didn’t know the difference from fairway to rough .. it was all rough… sand, stones made up the fairways… guaranteed to tear up your clubs… one and done and I regret every second of it… save your $$ go out to dinner instead.
Looking good!
Improvements are consistently being made on this course and it's starting to show some good signs. Greens are in great shape for this early in the season so hopefully they can keep them that way. If you are hungry, Mac's Sports Pub has excellent food, and make sure you try the fries! We will definitely play here again!

A lot of dog legs
The first hole par 5 dogleg right, maybe 210 to dogleg. then a par 6 third with ponds, creeks narrow fairways and fescue, small greens. The approaches have to be accurate or run off into ponds.

Course was in decent shape and weather was not too bad. No one behind or in front most of the day so round was 3 hrs even though there was an outing. SInce I suck this course is just fine.

Not Bad At All
This is a great place to work on your game. The course was in good enough shape for early April. The greens were in good shape.. the tee boxes were present, , the tees varied on quality of condition.. but the design of the greens were a challenge. It's a good place to play for the money ( compared to other places in the area). Oh-- by the way-- they have a par 6 !

After hitting and losing five different golf balls into five different ponds on five different holes i know what the F in John Gaffney stands for. We had a ball playing the course and hope to return soon..

A good place to work on your game
This is my third time playing this course. I live in Maine. Whenever I am going to play some place with good players, I use this course to get ready.. This is a county course that could be a really nice course if they just spent more time and money. The tee boxes are well placed but they need work. They are useable but not great. The fairways need work. The grass is only available in various locations on each hole.. The good part of this review is that the greens are in great shape. And every green is a challenge.. All in all, it's ok. They also have a good driving range
It's early in the season; Iam sure this course will evolve into a fine place to play golf with friends.

Green tree
Nice course for a county course. Very wet as it usually is after heavy rains. Does not drain well but not bad

Poor managing staff
The outing started 1 hour late due to defrosting. We started from 4th hole (no one started from 1st hole, I don’t know why?), and other groups started on the 10th hole. When we got to the 10th hole, there were 5 groups ahead of us waiting on the 10th hole. Too much waiting time, I gave up only playing 6 holes. The outing arrangement was not good.

Wrestling the lawn guy
I go here often. They have done a great job this fall getting the greens back. That of course takes constant maintenance and care. This Wednesday the schedule was wide open. There was no one in front or behind us at all. Except the guy mowing the light rough around each green. Every single hole on the front 9 he was mowing it while we were waiting to approach except for 1. It seemed to be common sense for him to go forward a hole or two and then circle behind us so we could play. On most courses mowers pull to the side and let you play through... not so much here. Please try to correct this. Hoping the fairways start to come back like the greens are. Great value for the price, just dodge the lawn guy.
