About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Greens in nice shape tee boxes level but pretty rough shape chewed up , cart paths ruff an not fit to drive on, other than that ok course.

Grab at a discount
If you can grab a round for under $40 while on OC vaca, by all means play. I wouldn't be happy if I spent more than I did. 9 minutes between groups on a narrow course with jacked up T boxes is a receipt for disaster. Greens are the best around. However, plan on a few extra strokes getting there. Places just off fairways are a bit high or rock hard. Lot of just misses and you're looking for a lost ball or unwarranted trouble. Like ALL narrow Pine Barren tracks in NJ, it's not a fair round if you don't get a level start. Pitched Ts are one thing, but hitting off the surface of the moon is another.

A truly enjoyable golf course
Have always loved Green Tree’s short but challenging layout. Greens in excellent shape! New carts came in today! Great amenities and driving range!

Wouldn’t pay full price
My Second time there overall and it seems the course has been let go a bit since my first time earlier in the summer. The tee boxes were a little chewed up and could lose your ball on some of the fairways due to long grass. Greens were in great shape but everything else left something to be desired.
Overall I wouldn’t pay more than the discounted rate we got for playing late on Saturday afternoon. I would have been really disappointed if I payed 50 bucks for this place just because there’s others options very close by it if you’re going to pay that
Pace of play was terrible because two groups of six in front of us. We played four holes before catching them and after that it was a nightmare. Nbody’s fault cause it was late Saturday afternoon but was disappointed that we didn’t get to finish our 18 because the big groups were totally unmonitored. I’ll still give this place another shot but my expectations will be low.

Great course for price
The greens run really fast and the course layout is very interesting, the only problem I saw was some areas don’t drain well and the tee boxes are not in great shape and not very level.

Best value
For a municipal course, it’s in great shape. It’s in better condition than a lot of other courses in the area. They recently added a beer cart, always a plus. The bar over the clubhouse is wonderful. But…the ladies tee boxes are awful. Absolutely awful if you’re bringing anyone paying for the front tees. My wife teed off from the fairway on some holes instead of the ladies tee boxes due to the condition. “It’s like teeing up from the rough.”
