About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The course is accessible from many major roads such as Routes 30 and 40 as well as the Atlantic City Expressway. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Get what you pay for or less
Course play was very good. The condition of the course was very bad. Most of the fairways were in bad to very bad condition. The cost of the green fees were fair but for the money I would prefer to pay a little more and have better conditions for the course.

8/20/23
Fairways and greens are in rough shape compared to other courses in the area. Greens looked like they have some kind of fungus. No one fixes ball marks which makes putting very difficult. No ranger in site to keep pace of play. Beverage cart would have been awesome seeing as it was a particularly hot day.

Makes sense
It's very inexpensive and should be. First of all the staff is great! Course is very beat up. If you think of it as some kind of links course it helps. A second time around would be probably a great round. Lots of reachable par 4's. Some trouble but once you know where it is you'll be fine. Very nice bar & restaurant. A great deal, but ot for the serious golfer. With the horrible prices other courses are charging it was a very nice day!

No course management ; way too many twosomes
No ranger in sight, twosome in front of us should have been told to pick up and move on, instead they hit multiple balls. Conditions are awful

Tragically SLOW
For $40 it’s okay. Unfortunately, having drunk obnoxious AHoles playing at no pace and No Ranger to help with pace made the course unplayable. If you want to drink, shout and ride over the greens with your cart. This is the course for you. Can be found in the middle of nowhere south jersey. Do yourself a favor and play elsewhere.

Might be the worse course I’ve ever played, there are no fairways,,and the flies eat you alive.

This course is the worst course in new jersey
The worst ever. It’s better to play the 12 hole par three in ocean city. It’s ink better shape and that course is terrible but it’s $15 and a par three!!

Not Bad At All
I have now played this course about 4 times.
I have played early in the season and mid summer.
The pro shop gets you out on the course; that's their job.
There is a place to eat upstairs. It has great food for an average price. It has views of the course and a deck.
It's a good place for a beer ( or soda) and a burger. The atmosphere is one where you could bring your wife and kids.
No one playing this course is trying to get into the PGA. They are all there to have a nice day out.
The greens are good. The tee boxes are level.
The fairways let your ball run. Some places have rough; others just have dirt. There are water hazards; but there are tee boxes to avoid the water hazards.
It's a nice course for a good day out playing golf near the Jersey Shore.

Ever Green a winner tip
I had 6 hours of down time as my kids and grand kids were on the beach in Ocean City. A pleasant surprise. As a senior, the gold tees are magic here.! The par 4s are do-able, the par 5s are not overwhelming, even that par 6 can be managed. I will be back

Solid
Very solid course for those who shoot 90-100+ range. Some fairways are in bad shape, greens are mostly good, and overall course is playable. Each hole is unique and very par-able. Clubhouse staff is very friendly and engages with the golfers in a positive manner. Will definitely be back to play a few more times this year.

Shame about the rain
Played over 2 days as course closed after 2 holes due to rain. 2nd day was wet but playable, great fun course, short but tight with some really different holes. Fairways were a bit rough greens extremely soft when we started but improved. Shame that people don’t repair their pitches as the greens are really quite good.
