Unremarkable
Course is virtually featureless.
Not particularly difficult.
Greens were, for me, and I am generally a fairly good putter, but today I stunk.
The course seems to be getting better each time I come back. Do wish, as a woman, that the halfway house restrooms were still open, but it’s understandable. Will definitely play here again and hopefully able to eat at the bar.
The course is a lot better condition than last year
I’ve been playing Centerton since 1997, and this is the first time that I can say that it’s in better condition. The new management did a superb job in transforming this golf course from 2 star to almost 4. I really enjoy playing this golf course. Keep up the good work!!!
Great Morn
Nice morn, greens looking much better, fairway pretty nice...rough alot of clover and crabgrass. Overall very nice morn 18 holes in 3 hours

Nice day, course in good shape.
First round this year.
.No one pushed and we pushed no one.
snacks and drinks available from roving cart.
Low stars for course amenities due to COVID.
Things are looking up at Centerton!
Honestly after playing this course last year I told myself I wasn’t going to play there again. This course has sentimental value from my high school golf days so I decided to try again on a last-second booking. I’m so glad that I did the course condition is so much better but there is still a ways to go in regards to the condition of the rough. We can rates are too expensive for a horse at this quality but in a pinch it was fun to get out there and see the course in somewhat similar condition that I remember from my teenage years.
Joe the golfer
Play was slow some greens were very rough. Fairways need trimming
Best shape in a long time
I have played Centerton for many years and I have to say that today was the best that I have ever seen this course. The staff was amazing the pace of play was great and the greens were so good.
Getting Better Every Day!
Centerton has been improving greatly with the new owners. Greens and fairways were excellent. Little challenging to find your ball in the rough, but you aren’t supposed to be in there anyway! Centerton is absolutely beautiful. We are ecstatic to witness the transformation to what will hopefully be its former glory!
Nice course for the price
This was the second time we played the course and it’s in great shape. The bunkers were actually sand even though I didn’t want to be in them. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape too. The only complaint would be when we got there our tee time was at 318. We didn’t tee off till 4pm. The checkin guy was very apologetic but starting 45 min late was frustrating.
Getting there
Fairways and greens were in pretty good shape compared to what I heard they used to be like. Not enough carts. Had to wait over 40 minutes passed my Tee time. I wasn't happy about that.
Not amazing, but acceptable.
Courses like Cobbs Creek and FDR are basically unplayable. This is a notch above that. I guess it’s on par with Cresson. But it’s a notch below the Wedgwoods and Westwoods of the world, which I don’t consider anything worth writing home about.
It’s a nice, forgiving course perfect for beginners and intermediate players. I had my best round of the season here. Almost every tee shot is open and long enough to drive. Not the best maintained course. Cart paths were rough. Fairways not super trim. Weeds all over the course. But it’s passable and I had a good time.
Good course
The only reason I couldn’t give it more stars is because the Covid prevented off site amenities from being open. Staff was very friendly they were prepared when I arrived the course was great. Can’t wait to go back.
