Flanders Valley Golf Club - White/Blue Course
About
Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Pretty, memorable finisher! Photo submitted by MarkMolyneux on 11/16/2015
Disappointed
Was in town for the Northern Trust, and decided to give this another try. Was kinda wet but there wasn’t a hint of sand in the bunkers. The greens were the sloooooooooowest in my 53 years of playing.. I commented on a couple of putts that by using the putter I did not have enough club. Non resident fee of 75 bucks could have been used better…elsewhere!
Rock solid
10am tee time on a nice Saturday. Played blue-white. Great pace, lot of walkers. Finished in 4-4.5, as good as you’ll get in this area. 50 minutes from Hoboken, 1 hr on way home. Interesting holes, solid conditions, solid amenities. Better value if you’re walking/push cart.
Good solid course - wet conditions
I have played Flanders many times over a few decades. A solid facility. Decent prices.
Played in mid July after a few days of rain so the course was pretty wet and greens were slow. But it was a good challenge still.
We played the gold/red - it is a tough walk on the gold especially but it is doable. The facilities are comfortable, the snack shack is nice and the young lady working it was very good and pleasant.
I will return
Great Staff - Great condition
First time playing the course, but the staff was friendly and welcoming. The conditions were terrific and the layouts on both Gold/Red were fun. This course can be enjoyed by all; definitely worth a try.
