About
Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Bummed Out
Haven’t played here in 14 years in the course is in great shape but I wasn’t happy because I signed up to play the blue white course and upon arriving was told you can play blue but you have to play the gold up the hill so not happy about that and not happy about finding this out when I got to the course so boo to Flanders Valley I’ll go back but wasn’t happy with this outing
Kinda Bummed Out
So I booked though the GolfNow app to play the Blue White course, only to find that there was a golf outing and had to play Blue to Red. Only played nine on the blue as I was walking and the whole purpose of playing the Blue White was to avoid the big hill. D- to Flanders Valley.
Clear Day
Course was in fair condition considering the storm that hit the area the day before. Only a couple swampy spots on some holes and a couple bunkers were under water. Pace of play was excellent since no one was on the course. 6a.m. Tee time and finished by 9a.m. Very happy that I didn't cancel my round.
Local gem
This course is one of my favorites. Casual golfers to serious swingers can have fun here. Fast responsive greens, challenging fairways that turn and slope.
The only time we really ran into a pace issue was on the 9th hole when a guy who couldn't find his tee shot drove back up to the tee box to hit another one. Just take a drop man we're losing daylight ffs.
