About
Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Great county course
Flanders is a fun course - 36 holes and always busy. We love it there!
Flanders Gold
Nice layout, only gripe, the greens were recently aerated.
Slow play and tough greens
I paid for 18 holes and left after 9. The foursome in front of us likely never played golf before and did everything they could to take their time. Ranger nowhere in sight.
Greens were aerated and in terrible shape. If I knew, I would have stayed home.
I like Flanders a lot, but this was a bad showing.
Nice early in season place to play
Not a hard course at all. I played Blue/White combo and other than 2 holes, nothing in the design is spectacular.
Tee times and starting is well organized. Although, starter didn't initially instruct me where to take my cart once my clubs were on, and obviously didn't go the right way and he got a little snippy with me. Would have been ideal for him to let me know where to take the cart once I was ready since tee time was still 20 minutes away.
Ok course
Not a bad layout. Fairways and rough were decent. Bunkers has rocks and were very firm. Tee boxes are in horrible shape
Major sand on the greens for aeration. Did receive a little off the price for conditions.
Heads up - Greens Plugged
Nice to see money being invested in the course, but it would’ve been nice to know that the greens had just been plugged.. Golf course is terrific county run facility where the staff is very friendly, helpful, efficient and professional.
Early season blues
Fairways hairy. 5 hours round...greens good and slick
This is a nightmare
We're at just about over 2 hours, and haven't teed off the 7th hole. Should tell you everything you need to know
Decent forgiving course
It was rainy weekday and course was empty. So we could play freely.
Greens are good shape. Fairway has room to improve. Not pachy but some parts are not different to first cut rough.
I would play again if <30min drive.
The course is very good. My only recommendation is not to have gas carts at all if they are not allowed on the course itself. Cartpath only for gas carts creates more delays. I understand the rationale for doing it but I think the delay for all the golfers, most of which who walk or use a pull cart, is most important.
