Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Was expecting much better conditions

Poor course maintenance with dirt on a lot of the tee boxes and poorly aerated greens. Totally not what I expected.

The course is going downhill..

Friendly staff, good location, used to be a great course to play. This year the course is not maintained, some holes don't even have properly maintained fairways, I would not go back again

Greens in great shape, tee boxes not so much

Pretty wet on the course from the prior day's rain so we got no roll on the fairways or greens. Most of the tee boxes on the Gold/Red had nothing left- mud and patches of 3" grass where there was any. Greens were in great shape.

Downward trajectory

I used to be a fan of Flanders valley but was disappointed with the condition of the course this time. Greens and fairways Are in pretty poor condition
