About
Flanders Valley Golf Course has received praise as not only one of the best public golf courses in New Jersey, but also as one of the best in the U.S. Flanders offers two 18-hole championship courses, White-to-Blue and Red-to-Gold. The courses are spread across over 400 acres of Morris County's idyllic countryside. The White-to-Blue Course has a more traditional layout that sprawls across mostly flat terrain. The golf course may lack elevation changes but there are an abundance of mature trees to contend with on either side of the course, making it very tight in some spots. One of the most memorable holes is the par-4 14th, nicknamed "Top and Right." This slight dogleg left hole has a pond bordering the entire left side of the fairway.

Solid Setup, Would Return
Everything about flanders was reasonable except the lack of a range. Greens were smooth but not overly fast and none of the pins were placed particularly undesirable. Pace of play was a little on the slow side but understandable given it was a Saturday afternoon at 1130 when I played. Fairways were taken care of and you can clip the ball nice from it. Id go back. Good value for the money.
Poor condition
The fairways were in terrible condition they were actually potholes in the fairways on many holes never seen that before
Wet Monday in July
Played Gold/Red course today. With over
3 &1/2 inches of rain since Friday, the course was playable but cart paths only.
That wasn't a problem.
The greens were hairy long cause they weren't cut, but were sprayed in the early AM.
Some small puddles but overall great for such a wet period in the past 3 days.
Much pruning along the cart paths is sorely needed which forces you to get off of the paths and onto the surrounding turf.
All in all a find round of golf
Typical County Course Conditions
Greens were in good shape. Rough is mostly burnt out. Fairways are alright. Staff was great and taking provisions for social distancing. It’s a good value for twilight. Conditions used to be great years ago.
Target golf
Played Gold/Red from white tees. Holes not too long. Requires precision more than power. Front 9 more hilly than flatter back 9. Had a great time. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Paired with 3 locals who were very nice. Some par 4 tee boxes chewed up from irons. Pace a little slow because of holiday. Greens medium speed and in good shape.
Great track
First time customers on a Sunday afternoon. Very well organized starter, carts, check in. There no rest room or port a john on the course so be in the know. Great variety of holes.
Good course, good price, good condition
Enjoyed the course.. After 20 min delay getting out due to it being too busy, it was a slow round. About 5 hours.
Wide fairways in good condition. Green in excellent condition and very receptive. Bunkers a little firm. Layout of the holes were nice and it was a long course. Walking it is tough....or at least a great exercise.
Got the job done
Friday afternoon beautiful weather. This course was packed and able to handle all the golfers you could throw at it. I was amazed. Well run and well layer out.
Overall realyl enjoyed the round/
It was raining when we started, bu cleared up after a little whiile. The rough is too long. The pace was not good, perhaps because of the rain at the onset, bur ended up ok
. Oerall, enjoeyed the play!...Staff is wonderfull!
