About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Aerated greens
Horrible course- starter was atvthe first tee box smoking a cheap cigar mocking players usung a leaf blower to blow their errant tee shots back to the fairway Every green was aerated, temp tees , leaves all over course no cleanup what so ever and cart paths only on every hole - nobody said a word about the course conditions and still charged full price. Course has gone down hill in last 2 years - I will not be back
Did I mention the arrogant starter smoking cheap cigars at the 1 st tee box making fun of golfers ?

Too much for too little
The course is good if you're just getting into golf and want to learn without feeling out of place. However, the prices they charge are just ridiculous for the quality of the course, and they continue to go up for some ridiculous reason. I've played there several times, and each time the quality of the bunkers are completely unplayable (either puddles or hard as concrete), the greens are rarely in good condition, and the tee boxes are 3/4 mud. If they want to charge >$60 a round, they should really step up their maintenance of the course. There are many other places in the area which are much higher quality and a similar price.

slow play
we had a 10:10 tee time and didn’t get out till 10:35. the round was 5hrs and fifteen minutes of waiting on every hole. way too long

There is a reason why this course is cheap. No ranger no fairway horrible management.

Good value and nice staff
We played on Friday of Labor Day weekend so the course was crowded, pace of play wasn’t great (as expected on a holiday weekend), but the course was in better condition than I remember it being a couple years back. Staff was extremely friendly and great weather made for an enjoyable experience. I would recommend if you are not a golf snob and you are looking for good value.

Not only is the course not well maintained but the pace of play is terrible , group in front of us where taking numerous extra shots and did not care about holding other groups up . No Ranger in site to improve pace of play .. took over 5 hours to finish 18 holes

Work has been done
I’ve been playing the meadows for years, it was the first course I visited when I decided to pick the clubs up again and it was my go to due to pricing. Though the price of a round has gone up over the years but what’s hasn’t, they have done a lot of work to this course, this year has been the best conditions I’ve seen the course. Minor things could still use improvement but nothing that will stop me from booking two rounds a week
