About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Poor conditions/pace of play
Fairways with no grass. Destroyed tee boxes that need a hammer to get your tee in. Pace of play was terrible . 2 groups were at the same tee waiting for the group ahead to get off the fairway. The sand in the bunkers was basically concrete.

Fun course. Great value.
My group had a great time playing here. Check in was fast and easy. No driving range but they had chipping and putting area. Greens were smooth and the course is well maintained. Pace of play was great and we never had to wait at the tee box. Cart girl was friendly and attentive. We will be back.

Not the best course
If you’re looking for a cheap round, this is a decent choice, I guess. Tee boxes tore up. Some holes under construction. Landscapers don’t care you are trying to play. One ran over my ball, cracked it open, and shot it back 50 yards. I said something to him and he just waved me off.

Soggy day
Good course. Easier to score well. Very green across the course (fairways / greens / tee boxes) But due to rain previous night many puddles around course including fairways, tee boxes and bunkers. Appears not a very good drainage system.

Pleasantly surprised
They did a great job with the greens, they used to be crabgrass and sand. The upkeep is noticeable, hope they keep it up.

Beginner but learned outside of jersey
The course was definitely welcoming as a beginner overall. After 4 pm don’t expect the refreshment cart. I’d load up at the bar or store prior. The prices on foods and drinks are extremely fair. The staff was great probably the best part. The course itself if you’re from that area you know it floods often so comparing it to where I first played (Loch Lloyd KC) is apples and oranges. They take care of the property, it’s not like they neglect it.

Quality Far Too Low Compared to Greens Fee
$79 per person for a round and the holes are terribly maintained. Some holes the entire fairway is a swamp. If it rains the day before forget about it, just pick somewhere else. Some of the tee boxes are miserable and the sand traps play more like cement than sand. This course should not cost $79 per person!

Insurmountable drainage issues
The course is in the Passaic River floodplain and the water table is quite high, As a result, the fairways are a combination of scruffy grass, weeds, and hardpan/mud depending on the weather. Expect to play lift, clean and place.
That said, the push-up greens are in excellent shape and challenging. The layout is quite interesting, Given the moderate green fees, the course is a good deal for a last-minute quick 18.

Well done
Teed off with a member before an outing on Sunday, August 7. Greens were the best they were all year (they must have cut and rolled them the night before). Course and greens in excellent shape. Anyone who says this course is easy, play it from the tips and come back to me with your thoughts. You should give this course a try, it is well worth it.

70$ can’t even even put my tee in the ground! Overall decent course layout and friendly staff, but this course needs a lot of work.

Slow pace
Someone should ride the course and advise the slower players to be a little respectful and not look for balls when no one is in front of them . Happen too many times the last few times I played here
