About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

There is a reason why this course is cheap. No ranger no fairway horrible management.

No ranger in site, group in front of us taking multiple shots and 5 on the tee box on 18th hole .. just because he could 5 hour round

Good value and nice staff
We played on Friday of Labor Day weekend so the course was crowded, pace of play wasn’t great (as expected on a holiday weekend), but the course was in better condition than I remember it being a couple years back. Staff was extremely friendly and great weather made for an enjoyable experience. I would recommend if you are not a golf snob and you are looking for good value.

Not only is the course not well maintained but the pace of play is terrible , group in front of us where taking numerous extra shots and did not care about holding other groups up . No Ranger in site to improve pace of play .. took over 5 hours to finish 18 holes

I’ve been playing the meadows for years, it was the first course I visited when I decided to pick the clubs up again and it was my go to due to pricing. Though the price of a round has gone up over the years but what’s hasn’t, they have done a lot of work to this course, this year has been the best conditions I’ve seen the course. Minor things could still use improvement but nothing that will stop me from booking two rounds a week

Poor conditions/pace of play
Fairways with no grass. Destroyed tee boxes that need a hammer to get your tee in. Pace of play was terrible . 2 groups were at the same tee waiting for the group ahead to get off the fairway. The sand in the bunkers was basically concrete.

Fun course. Great value.
My group had a great time playing here. Check in was fast and easy. No driving range but they had chipping and putting area. Greens were smooth and the course is well maintained. Pace of play was great and we never had to wait at the tee box. Cart girl was friendly and attentive. We will be back.

Not the best course
If you’re looking for a cheap round, this is a decent choice, I guess. Tee boxes tore up. Some holes under construction. Landscapers don’t care you are trying to play. One ran over my ball, cracked it open, and shot it back 50 yards. I said something to him and he just waved me off.

Soggy day
Good course. Easier to score well. Very green across the course (fairways / greens / tee boxes) But due to rain previous night many puddles around course including fairways, tee boxes and bunkers. Appears not a very good drainage system.

They did a great job with the greens, they used to be crabgrass and sand. The upkeep is noticeable, hope they keep it up.
